Spend celebration time in the aisles giving prize eggs to store patrons. Carry an Easter basket with plastic eggs and wear bunny ears for a festive touch. Stuff each egg with candy and a prize coupon for your promotional items or financial services. Give children special eggs made especially for them. As each person arrives at the branch to claim their prize, take a moment to thank them, ask them their name, and introduce yourself and the financial institution. Spring Cha-Ching It s spring and time to focus on fresh, new customers/members. How you can help finance their next venture or cultivate their dream? Promote new business loans or lines of credit by using a garden theme. We ve Got Your SEED MONEY! would be a catchy slogan for a flyer or banner hanging in your branch. Offer a line of credit for those starting a business or a new project for their home. Decorate with spring flowers shared by your instore florist. Ask staff members to wear straw hats and aprons ready to work the aisle. Hand out seed packs with a promotional flyer attached during business development time.
National Teacher Appreciation Week With the month of May comes the end of another school year. In 1984, the National PTA established Teacher Appreciation Week the first full week in May to honor the dedicated men and women educating our children. Recognize your teachers by inviting them to the branch for a free gift. Let them register for a day of pampering at a local spa. Create a chalkboard on your cabinets, and start an honor roll of teachers. Encourage customers to submit their favorite teacher s name to be placed on the honor roll. Enjoy S More Savings with ABC Financial Camping may be one of America s favorite activities. Not much compares to sitting in a comfortable lawn chair with a cold drink among your closest friends and family and the sounds of a crackling campfire. Create this feeling in your branch this month while offering competitive rates on savings accounts. With the store manager s permission, set up a few lawn chairs, a cooler, and a makeshift campfire. Host a s mores bar by serving graham crackers with chocolate and miniature marshmallows on top. Host a drawing each week to give away summer s outdoor gear such as folding lawn chairs or a cooler filled with snacks. Cover your cabinets with blue paper and a large image of a sun. Add a few rainbow-colored flip-flop cut outs complete with a product or service written on each one. Fill a beach bag with sunscreen, beach towels, a Frisbee, and other simple outdoor toys for the giveaway. Offer store-branch lemonade on the weekends to shoppers, and promote sweet products/services. On Par Use a golf motif and a slogan, Don t Putt Around with Others! Make a Hole-In One with Us! or Our Customer Service Is On Par with Your Needs. Have your associates caddy groceries for senior adults to their car each Thursday and Friday morning for two hours. With a name tag, allow staff to wear golf shirts and golf caps or visors. Set up a putting green for shoppers to aim for a hole-in-one, and give participants a key chain or pen. Decorate the branch with golf paraphernalia. Cover your back cabinets with green paper, and list your products and services on golf ball cutouts. Host a drawing for a round of golf at a nearby course.
