Waikaraka Park International Speedway Auckland New Zealand Saloon Car Grand Prix 14 th & 15 th February 2014 (Friday, Saturday) CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. The event will be run according to the Speedway New Zealand General Rules and Regulations. 2. All drivers must hold a current SNZ Inc. Licence and all vehicles must comply with the current Speedway New Zealand Rule book and supplementary regulations. 3. Noise level of 95dba will be enforced as measured on the track infield. 4. Electronic Lapscoring will be used. Lapscoring will be by way of the Dorian Data-1tm. Timing/Scoring system. The official transmitter for Electronic Lapscoring is Dorian Data-1 TX8000TM. Vehicles without a transmitter will not be permitted to race. Waikaraka Park Speedway does not provide transmitters. 5. Smoking is prohibited in the dummy grid area at all times. 6. All entry forms must be accompanied by a track clearance 7. The Promoter reserves the right to issue temporary numbers to avoid duplication. Competitors will be advised of any such change to their racing number along with their application acceptance. It is a condition of entry that competing vehicles arrive at vehicle checking displaying the number allocated to them and that the numbers comply with the rules of Speedway New Zealand Inc. (no cardboard / paper numbers) 8. The promoter reserves the right to alter the format and closing date after consultation with officials, if deemed necessary. You will be notified of any such changes. 9. Sponsors advertising transfers may be affixed on each car. 10. Telephone entries will be accepted prior to written entry. Entries close 3 rd February 2014. 11. In the event that you have already forwarded an entry form and discover that you are unable to attend this meeting, you must notify us as soon as possible. 12. In the event of a rainout, the Promoter reserves the right to hold the event on the next most opportune day and time 13. Alcoholic beverages must not be consumed in the Pits anytime, before, during and after the meeting. 14. One Race Final Format (M4-29) Qualifying (M4-29- 1) (Friday 14 th February 2014) Heats and Repercharges will be run to find the Top 20 cars for the New Zealand Saloon Car Grand Prix. (Depends on entry numbers). There will be Four Groups run over 3, 12 laps Heats with the top 4 points scorers from each group qualifying for the New Zealand Saloon Car Grand Prix. Finals (M4-29-2) (M4-29-3) (Saturday 15 th February 2014) Two Repercharges will be held with the top 2 from each Repercharge going into the New Zealand Saloon Car Grand Prix final. Two heats will be run as per SNZ Rule Book (M4-29-2) to determine grid positions for the one off 25 lap New Zealand Saloon Car Grand Prix final.
