More fun in the new park Snowpark Feldberg With the new season 2010/11 the QParks family is growing again: the funpark Feldberg joins the biggest European snowpark network as new German project. The whole park set-up will be restructured from scratch and new rails and boxes will replace the present obstacles. The central position in the heart of the Seebuck between two chairlifts, the innovative design as well as the daily perfect shape of the elements let the snowpark gleam in new freestyle splendor. The Highest (as the Feldberg is also called by locals) in the Schwarzwald represents the heart of the wintersport region Hochschwarzwald. Due to its snow-secure altitude (950 1.450m), the Feldberg guarantees snow pleasure of more than 110 days a year. Now the diversified ski resort gets another attractive reason to be visited. The already existing funpark between the 6-seat chairlift and the Resilift will be re-designed and some new obstacles will be added. The freestyle community can look forward to a fine and subtle setup by QParksdesigner Bernd Mandlberger. An alteration is offered for beginner and advanced riders likewise, there can be found kickers in all sizes and frisky elements invite to jump and jib. The boardercross with 3 waves and 4 kids boxes make the perfect entrance into the world of freestyle for all rookies, whilst the experts can improve their skills in the lower park area at the medium and advanced line. Downrail, wallridespine or 10m double-kinked box are only a few of the highlights in the new snowpark Feldberg. Besides the brand new park the ski resort Feldberg also provides sunny slopes of 30km in total, the FIS world cup downhill and marked freeride routes. For people, who aren t with ski or snowboard, attractive alternatives are offered such as snowshoeing, ice-skating or winter trails. Snow pleasure for big and small, freestyle and slope riders in the midst of the diversified area of the Schwarzwald: sounds like good vibes and appeal to getting to know it! Local Tipp HannesLohrer: The Feldberg Freestyle Community is like a big family to me. Every week you meet up with the same people, you catch up easily and just have fun together. That s what it is all about at the Feldberg: Not competing against each other, just having a great time together.
