I would like thank you for supporting our charity event the Centre Algarve challenge cup 2016, this year being held at the Magnificent Monte Rei golf club between April 13th and 17th 2016. We have an impressive list of sporting legends/celebrities signed up to play in this up-close and personal experience. The event is in aid of the 24x7 special needs holiday trust charity, branded as Centre Algarve which is Europe s only dedicated special needs holiday centre. The centre is based in the eastern Algarve of Portugal. Centre Algarve is the first place in Europe that enables Special needs schools and families along with many other special needs organisations to enjoy a holiday abroad for the very first time, this is something that many of us take for granted. The Centre has fourteen bespoke bedrooms of which two bedrooms have fully equipped adjoining hygiene rooms with wet beds and ceiling hoists. The entire ground floor is designed for wheelchair accessibility with no ramps, fully accessible swimming pool with hoist in our relaxation area. The centre also features a petting zoo with paddocks, (including our very own meet the Meerkats experience) a safe outdoor children s play area with swings and slides. Within the grounds is our education and discovery centre which includes a soft and sensory room again with hoists, a class room and an American themed diner. And equally important a sun lounge area where guests can freely relax and mix with others. Charity events like this enable us to raise enough funds to really make a difference, The charity sends underprivileged special needs children and their family s on holiday. The families whom will benefit from events like this are not in a financial position take a holiday. We also send groups from special needs schools meaning for the very first time they can experience a holiday broad. It is our ambition to raise enough funds to send somebody to Centre Algarve every week of the year. It is with your support that it allows this to happen so again thank you for considering our attending or sponsoring our event. 100% of all monies raised will go directly to the charity to be spent on sending families to centre Algarve.
