We manufacture all of our products under one roof here in the USA and are proud to deliver only the best silencers to our community. Sincerely and Silently, JOSHUA WALDRON SilencerCo Co-Founder & CEO WE AT SILENCERCO HOPE THAT YOU ENJOY THE TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS OFFERED BY THE SPARROW 2 2 S O U N D SUPPRESSOR. TO PROVIDE FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE EFFECTIVE USE OF THIS SUPPRESSOR, IT IS CRITICAL THAT THE OWNER AND ANY USER OF THE SUPPRESSOR READ THIS ENTIRE MANUAL AND FOLLOW STRICTLY THE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS WITHIN. THIS SUPPRESSOR IS INTENDED TO BE USED ONLY BY THOSE WHO ARE WELL-VERSED IN THE SAFE OPERATION OF FIREARMS.

SPARROW 22

WARNING Failure to follow installation and maintenance instructions detailed in this manual may result in serious personal injury and damage to the weapon. Firearm sound suppressors are user-attached firearm muzzle devices, and as such are subject to improper attachment issues unless the procedures outlined in this manual are followed precisely. Do not attempt to use this product unless you have specific training and experience in the use of firearms. Before installing or removing the Sparrow 22 sound suppressor from the host weapon, be sure that the weapon is unloaded and the action is opened so that it is visibly clear of any ammunition. If you are at all unsure as to the proper procedures to ensure that your firearm is unloaded, please consult your firearm user s manual/instructions and/or contact a properly licensed dealer or the manufacturer of your weapon. Because suppressed firearms make less noise than unsuppressed firearms, it is easy to forget that they are still firearms and capable of causing bodily injury and property damage. It is of vital importance to remember that a suppressed firearm is just as dangerous as an unsuppressed firearm, and that the same safe handling requirements still apply. When removing the Sparrow 22, use extreme caution as it may be hot to the touch after firing. Use gloves to avoid burns or other injuries. Check the fit between barrel and suppressor before firing! The thread mount must be fully shouldered on the barrel. There should be no visible gap between the barrel shoulder and the face of the suppressor thread mount. If there is any gap DO NOT fire the host with the suppressor attached. Poor accuracy and product damage may result if the suppressor is not fully shouldered. Assembly and disassembly should never be performed while the suppressor is affixed in any manner to a host firearm.

MADE IN THE USA Always completely remove the Sparrow 22 from the host firearm before assembly and/or disassembly is attempted. Before performing maintenance, removing, or installing the suppressor, open the action, ensure firearm is unloaded, and be sure the chamber is empty. Failure to do so can result in property damage, injury, or death. The Sparrow 22 is designed to suppress the initial muzzle blast and subsequent projectile de-corking pressure. Neither suppressor contacts or otherwise interacts with the projectile, allowing the projectile to travel at its default speed. Because of this, a sonic crack is produced by the projectile as it breaks the sound barrier. Depending on the geography of the area, the sonic crack may vary in volume. This is solely a function of the projectile breaking the sound barrier and is not related to product performance. The Sparrow 22 was designed with durability and user serviceability in mind and utilizes a patented Multi- Part Containment (MPC) technology to facilitate ease of disassembly and reassembly. The internal MPC construction features two half tubes that pull away from a monolithic baffle stack. This design ensures that the Sparrow 22 will maintain its ease of maintenance after extended periods of use with notoriously dirty rimfire ammunition. The Sparrow 22 mounts on conventional 1/2 X 28 (Class 3A) threads.400 in length. Since thread mounting silencers are known to unscrew during firing, it is of the utmost importance that you frequently verify the silencer is securely tightened onto the barrel. We recommend checking the security of the attachment after 30 discharges of the firearm. Silencers must be free of obstructions such as mud, dirt, etc. Do NOT attempt to shoot through an obstructed silencer.

SPECS INCLUDED The Sparrow 22 is compatible with the following:.22 LR,.17 HMR,.22 MAG,.22 WMR,.22 HORNET, AND 5.7 X 28 FN. The Sparrow comes standard with (2) size 18 O-rings and (1) size 13 O-ring already installed. Also included is (1) thread spacer. The thread spacer is to be used on threads.600.650. If threads are longer than.400 but shorter than.600, a 1/2 X 28 adapter will be needed. Visit SILENCERCO.COM for additional information. INSTALLATION After confirming that your firearm is unloaded, place the threaded end of the Sparrow 22 (1A) in line with the threads of the barrel. Taking care not to cross-thread, screw the silencer onto the barrel until it is firmly secured and no additional barrel threading is visible. Hand tighten only. 1A OUTER TUBE MONOLITHIC BAFFLE SACK HALF TUBES BACK CAP

DISASSEMBLY 2B Unscrew the back cap (1B) from the silencer by twisting counter clockwise. Slide the outer tube (2B) off of the half tubes (3B) and monolithic core (4B). To aid in outer tube removal, once the back cap is removed, place the rear of the silencer on a flat surface and push downward. Peel half tubes (3B) away from the monolithic core (4B). When the Sparrow 22 is taken apart after firing, it must be cleaned before reassembly. Buildup of carbon and fouling will result in improper fit of the parts. 3B 1B 4B 3B 4B

1C ASSEMBLY 4C 2C 3C 5C 5C Ensure that the Sparrow 22 s three O-rings (1C, 2C, 3C) are in the proper grooves. A large O-ring (1C, 2C) should be placed on each end of the monolithic core (4C) in the existing grooves, and a small O-ring (3C) should be in the groove where the muzzle threads engage the silencer body. Place the half tubes (5C) around the baffle stack so that the ends are flush against the shoulder at the front of the monolithic core and the side edges seat against the spines. Slide the waved side of the other tube (1D) over the half tubes and monolithic core until the tube rests against the waved shoulder of the front cap (2D). Ensure that the waves of the tube and front cap interlock. Screw back cap (3D) onto silencer body. As you are tightening, ensure that the waves of the tube and front cap remain interlocked. It is recommended to hold one thumb over the front cap as you install the back cap to aid in keeping the waved sections interfaced. 1D 2D 3D

MAINTENANCE The user-serviceable nature of the Sparrow 22 makes cleaning quick and simple. It is recommended to clean the Sparrow 22 after 1,000 rounds, although greater frequency might be needed depending on the type of ammunition used. The Sparrow 22 internal components can be cleaned using solvents, light abrasive media, or certain chemical dips. DO NOT use solvents or ultra sonic cleaners on the outer tube, as damage to the finish may occur. The use of abrasive pads or wire brushes is acceptable, but a small test should be done on an inconspicuous area to ensure no scratching or damage will occur to the metal finish. If the finish of the outer tube becomes discolored, wipe the silencer with any high quality gun oil; this should restore the finish to the factory condition. Disassemble the Sparrow 22 as listed in these instructions and clean using the suggested products. Dry all components thoroughly before reassembling.

LIFETIME WARRANTY We proudly stand behind the quality of our products with a lifetime warranty, no matter what even if it s not a product defect. Our 48 hour repair turnaround even warranties stupid once. If you experience any issues, please contact our Customer Service team at 801.417.5384. If your silencer has a defect in manufacturing or materials, there will be no charges for service or replacement through our SilencerCo facility. If we determine that a claim is not covered under warranty, a discounted replacement option will be granted. This warranty does not cover damage to the silencer or host firearm resulting from careless or irresponsible handling, adjustments or modifications to design, negligence, or other abuse. SilencerCo assumes no liability for unsafe or illegal use of the silencer by its purchaser or any other user that comes in contact with the product after purchase. SilencerCo assumes no responsibility for physical injury or property damage resulting from careless or irresponsible handling or by any use contrary to the recommendations, warnings, and cautions generally listed in this manual. SilencerCo does not cover damage to the silencer or host firearm resulting from improper hand-loaded or reloaded ammunition or defective ammunition. SONIC CRACK The Sparrow 22 is designed to suppress the initial muzzle blast and subsequent projectile de-corking pressure. This silencer does not contact or otherwise interact with the projectile, allowing the projectile to travel at its default speed. Because of this, a sonic crack is produced by the projectile as it breaks the sound barrier. Depending on the geography of the area, the sonic crack may vary in volume. This is solely a function of the projectile breaking the sound barrier and is not related to product performance.
