Myerscough Golf Academy Subscriptions 2013 Full (18 years of age and over, below 60 years of age) 195 Senior (60 years of age and above) 175 Summer (18 years of age and over) 50 Colt (11 years of age and over, below 17 years of age) 65 Junior (5 years of age and over, below 10 years of age) 35 Age categories are determined by the person s age on the final day of the current subscription which is 31 December. All categories of membership include the following entitlements: Use of 9 hole golf course, putting green and chipping green Reduced rates when booking lessons at the Golf Academy Free use of the indoor putting and chipping green Reduced rates for guests fees Guest Fees With member 10 Without member 12.50 Please note: Myerscough actively encourages juniors to play its golf course. However for health and safety reasons, juniors aged 10 and under must play in pairs. Juniors over 10 years wishing to play the course unsupervised MUST be receiving lessons through the Junior Academy..1.
Myerscough Golf Academy Rules & Regulations 1. Opening Times and Booking Tee Times 1.1 Opening hours for the golf course are seasonal but generally the course will be open from dawn until dusk. Bookings can be made Monday-Friday 8.00am 7.00pm and Saturday and Sunday 9.00am-6.00pm. The course may be shut without notice due to weather conditions such as flooding or frost. Notice will be given of tournaments or events by means of the members notice board. 1.2 The golf course will be closed until 3.00pm on Thursdays during the academic term. 1.3 The Indoor Golf Academy will be open in line with the Sports Centre. These times are available on the Sports Centre notice board. 1.4 Members are encouraged to pre-book their tee times. If Members just turn up pre-booked tee times will taking priority. No more than 4 players per tee time. 1.5 Members playing 18 holes must book a second tee time for their back 9. If no second tee time is booked then priority must be given to players starting with pre-booked tee times. 1.6 The simulator and indoor chipping and putting green are available on a daily basis. Usage is on a strict booking basis only. 1.8 Before using any of the Golf Academy facilities, members must book-in in person in the Golf Shop or at the Sports Centre reception. 1.9 On competition days tee times will be blocked and competitors will have priority on the tee. Non competing members will not be allowed to play in-between competing members. Members competition information will be available from the member notice board. 2. Membership Tags 2.1 All Club members will be issued with a golf bag tag which must be clearly displayed on the golf bag at all times. 2.2 It is the responsibility of each member to ensure that they possess a valid bag tag..2.
2.3 If a membership bag tag is lost or stolen, a replacement tag will be issued upon payment of a nominal administration charge to cover the cost of the new tag. 2.4 Members must not, under any circumstances, loan out their membership bag tag. Any member who is found to have done so will be excluded from all facilities immediately and may be subject to a suspension or expelled from membership. 3. Guests 3.1 Guests are permitted at the discretion of Myerscough College and are liable to pay full guest fees. 3.2 Guest fees are day tickets. 3.3 Members must inform the Golf Academy of any guest that will be accompanying them. A maximum of 3 guests may be signed by a member at any one time. 3.4 Any guest with a member must be accompanied by the member at all times. 3.5 Guests shall be subject to the same rules and regulations as members. 3.6 Members are responsible for the actions and behaviour of their guests. 4. Clothing and Personal Appearance 4.1 Members and guests are expected to be appropriately, smartly and neatly dressed at all times when using the golf course. 4.2 Jeans, tracksuits and collarless shirts are not acceptable. The only exceptions to this rule are juniors and Colts. 5. Course Rules 5.1 No more than 4 players to a group. 5.2 Each player must have their own clubs in order to play. Clubs may not be shared. 5.3 Practice is prohibited on the golf course. 5.4 No trolleys are allowed across the tees or greens..3.
5.5 Formal teaching (including juniors) has priority at all times. 5.6 Course maintenance takes priority at all times. 5.7 Divots must be replaced and pitch marks repaired by players causing damage. 6. Behaviour 6.1 Members and guests are expected to act cordially, reasonably and responsibly at all times. 6.2 Any member or guest who does not act in a cordial, reasonable or responsible manner will be excluded from all facilities immediately and may be subject to a suspension or expelled from membership. 6.3 Damage to golf course property or abuse to equipment or facilities shall be paid for by any member or guest who wilfully or negligently causes such damage. Members may also be suspended or expelled. 6.4 Members are responsible for the actions and behaviour of their guests. 6.5 No member or guest shall bring intoxicating liquor or food onto the premises. 6.6 No illegal betting or gaming, drunkenness, bad language or any other misconduct shall be permitted. 6.7 Myerscough College management strongly condemns substance abuse of any kind. Any member or guest who is suspected to be under the influence of substance abuse will be refused entry to the Academy and barred from all facilities. Substance abuse includes alcohol, narcotics and other mood altering substances. 6.8 Myerscough College has a no smoking policy except in designated smoking areas. Members who smoke must use the designated areas. Any member who is caught smoking in other areas may be subject to a suspension or expelled from membership. 7. Liability 7.1 All facilities are used entirely at the members and guests own risk..4.
7.2 Myerscough College and Myerscough Golf Academy does not accept any liability for the loss or damage to members or guests personal property. 8. Amendments 8.1 These regulations may be amended at any time by Myerscough College. Alterations will be displayed on members notice boards in the Golf Shop. 9. Cancellations 9.1 24 hours notice must be given for the cancellation of lessons or simulator bookings. 9.2 If a lesson or booking is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the full cost may be charged. 10. Complaints 10.1 All complaints shall be made in writing to the Head Professional of Myerscough College..5.
