Only Team Manager and racing crew permitted inside the Boat Marshall Station and Athlete s Area (area between Boat Marshall and Boat Pontoon). Team Manager & racing crew must wear ID Tags, PFD and footwear once inside Boat Marshall Station. Seat-pads cannot be thicker than 13mm and be compressible
Start Procedure Drummer hold buoy start Drummer can release buoy at command ATTENTION False Start When a Team starts paddling anytime before the AIR HORN. Starter shall cancel the start with the command STOP! STOP! STOP! The start process shall be repeated Offending team will be given a Final Warning Subsequent False Starts from same Offending Team DQ or 3 seconds Time Penalty Jump Start When a Team starts paddling between ATTENTION and AIR HORN. Race will be allowed to carry on 1 second Time Penalty awarded to offending team
Lane Violation When a Team enters the adjacent lanes or finished in the wrong lanes. If no distress caused to other Teams. Race Results will stand as-is. Warning issued against Offending Team. Steersperson of Offending Team may be penalized. If distress is caused to other Team, but no colission. Offending team will be awarded time penalty of 3 seconds. Steersperson of Offending Team may be penalized Results not affected - the Race Results will stand as-is Results affected Victim Teams may be given a Time Run (in its assigned lane)
AVOID COLLISIONS AT ALL COSTS, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO STOP!! Collision The Race Umpires will be looking at:- distribution of the other boats in relation to the collision determine whether the victim team was in contention for pole finish (1 st or 2 nd ) or whatever finish that is required for progression to the next level Post Collision The Chief Official in consultation with the Race Jury will make the following decisions:- Disqualify the offending team Initiate disciplinary action against the offending team s steersperson, if necessary Certification of the Offending Team s Steersperson may be revoked Schedule a re-race or time-run, if necessary Allow the results to stand, if re-race or time-run not necessary

Arising from attempted manipulation of ID Tag use in SDBF. Any individual(s) that reported to Boat Marshall with the wrong ID Tag or wearing an ID Tag belonging to a different person(s):- The Team (& its entire racing crew) will be disqualified and ejected from the SRR The Team will be charged for Cheating and SDBA Disciplinary Committee will convene to decide on de-affiliation and life-bans on Team Members. The Offending & Conspiring Individual(s) will be handed life-bans from the sport

Race Secretary will keep the List and it will be used throughout the event 4. No changes allowed to be made to the submitted List 5. Any changes MUST be made before submission and approved by Race Secretary - Amendment Fee for Affiliates: $50 - Amendment Fee for Non-affiliates: $100
