SCORING PROTOCOLS AND MY CRICKET SCORING MANUAL
PROCEDURE 1. Home clubs are responsible for providing one device to electronically score on (ipad, tablet, phone etc) as well as scorebook. If the away team wants their scorebook used as well then that will be fine as someone can use the scorebook and device at the same time. 2. At the completion of the match it is the HOME team s responsibility to ensure the match is uploaded to mycricket from the scorer app. (or if that fails - manually enter scores). It is vital that this is done by SUNDAY am so that George can get the information he needs for the paper. 3. The umpires are still to manually write the votes on the back of the scoresheet and then the HOME clubs must enter the votes online. They will need to enter Umpires Fairest and Best (3,2,1), Fielding Award (3,2,1), Wicketkeeper (score out of 5 for each keeper). To do this you must log in to your clubs mycricket admin site and then go to the teams tab and then Matches/Enter Votes. Choose the votes you are giving and then allocate. 4. You must also allocate the votes for the umpires performance - these are done in matches/enter captains reports. You then click on the umpires assessment and give them the rating out of 10 that the two captains agreed upon. BASIC PROCESS 1. Ensure the user has a mycricket login that they can use. You can only access mycricket scorer through a mycricket log in. If you don't have one contact your club administrator, or failing that, me. 2. You will need to select the players into the match in mycricket by Thursday night (or Friday at the latest). If you are not sure who will be playing then select more than you need and include all players that could play. You can delete the extras later. 3. Whilst in a wifi area you will need to log into mycricket scorer and download the match. Once you have done this all players will be in the match and you should be good to go. Once you have downloaded the match you do not need to be a wifi area until you want to upload the match at the completion of the match. If you have a device (phone, ipad etc) that has internet connectivity then you can syn the match at regular intervals and this can be updated on your website (if you have set up the live scoring widget on your website). 4. Once the match has finished ensure you sync the match so all information is uploaded to mycricket. 5. Please find attached three documents that should aid you in setting up myscorer. There is a couple of summary sheets (4-6 pages) and a user guide (53 pages).
