Mission: To provide an annual comprehensive Martial Arts Camp that will foster education and development of the Martial Arts as well as to infuse camaraderie and espirit d corp among students and instructors of different Martial Arts disciplines. To bring together Martial Artists of different disciplines to share their art and training techniques with other Martial Artist for the betterment of Martial Arts in the world. The Northwest Kick Fest will be hosted annually in Sandpoint, Idaho by the Black Bear Martial Arts located at 114 Boyer Avenue in Sandpoint, Idaho. The Northwest kick fest is open to all Martial Artist s in good standing with their respective school, regardless of their rank or experience. Participants in the Northwest Kickfest Summer Camp must pre-register and abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Black Bear School of Martial Arts of Sandpoint, Idaho. The Northwest Kickfest Martial Arts Summer Camp will attract Martial Artists from all over the Northwestern States of the US as well as the world. It is a gathering of Martial Artists to not only share their knowledge but to also learn from others. SPECIAL GUESTS: (We will be adding more on our website.) PROFESSOR TREVOR PRANGLEY Owner and head coach at Trevor Prangley s AKA Professor Prangley has competed in the UFC, Stikeforce, and Shark Fights and is currently the lightweight champion of King of the Cage. He is a former All American wrestler at North Idaho College and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. Welcome to Sandpoint! Saturday, August 16th Location: Sandpoint City Beach Park. 9:00 am-1:00 pm Bow-in ceremony followed by seminars. 1:00 pm Lunch and break-out sessions or choose to enjoy the park! 3:30-5:30 pm Afternoon seminars. 6:00 pm BBQ dinner on the beach. Sunday, August 17th Location: Sandpoint City Beach Park. 10:00 am Bow-in followed by Massive and Mixed Martial Arts taught by instructors of different disciplines mixed into one awesome class. This will probably be the largest single class you have attended all year! 12:00-1:00 pm Seminars. 1:00 pm Closing ceremony. Accommodations & Location: Sandpoint, Idaho is routinely rated as one of the best resort towns in North America. Pristine beaches, a 47-mile long lake surrounded by mountains, and many trails for hiking, biking and running opportunities.
