1. General The Club Pattinaggio Bellinzona (CPB), member of the Federazione Ticinese di Pattinaggio (FTP), is organizing the Trofeo dei Castelli 2014, an international Figure Skating Competition for clubs with the following USP/ISU and Breitensport (amateurs) categories: USP/ISU: Breitensport: (amateurs) Mini, Speranze, Advanced Novice, Junior, Senior and Senior B in Single Skating Inter-gold, Silver, Inter-silver, Bronze, Inter-bronze, Starlet 4 (without USP test) This competition will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2012, the ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating 2012 and the relevant ISU Communications and the Swiss Ice Skating Communication 2014-2015, Required Elements for the Swiss Championships 2015. For Breitensport categories please refer to Swiss Ice Skating Communication no 13/2014-2015. All ISU members and clubs, members of National Figure Skating Federations associated to ISU, are invited to take part in the competition. Passports or licence of the skaters, as well as the ISU Clearance Certificate, if applicable, must be presented at the accreditation. Technical Data USP/ISU - All categories are organized according to the specifications of the Swiss Ice Skating Federation for the Swiss National Championships. Please refer to Required Elements for the Swiss Championships 2015. For swiss skaters: deadline for passing test is August 20th, 2014. SENIOR Ladies and Men: born before 1.7.2000 2 min 50 sec max. ISU Seniors Ladies: 4 min (+/- 10 sec) Men: 4 min 30 sec (+/- 10 sec) JUNIOR Ladies and Men: born between 1.7.1995 and 30.6.2001 : Applicable 2 min. 50 sec max. rules ISU Juniors 1 bonus point for one triple jump, neither underrotated nor downgraded and 1 bonus point for one additional, though different, triple jump, neither underrotated nor downgraded. 2
SENIOR B Ladies and Men: born before 1.7.1995 (possible from 1.7.1995-30.6.1996) 2 min 50 sec max. ISU Juniors 1 bonus point for one triple jump, neither underrotated nor downgraded and 1 bonus point for one additional, though different, triple jump, neither underrotated nor downgraded. ADVANCED NOVICE Girls: born between 1.7.2000 and 30.6.2004 Boys: born between 1.7.1998 and 30.6.2004 2 min 30 sec max. Girls: 3 min (+/- 10 sec) Boys: 3 min 30 sec (+/- 10 sec) 1 bonus point for one 2A and 1 bonus point for one triple jump, neither underrotated nor downgraded SPERANZE (U13) Girls: born between 1.7.2001 and 30.6.2002 Boys: born after 30.6.2000 2 min 30 sec max. Girls: 3 min (+/- 10 sec) Boys: 3 min 30 sec (+/- 10 sec) 1 bonus point for one 2A and 1 bonus point for one triple jump, neither underrotated nor downgraded MINI (U12) Girls: born after 30.6.2002 2 min 30 sec max. 3 min (+/- 10 sec) 1 bonus point for one 2A and 1 bonus point for one triple jump, neither underrotated nor downgraded 3
BREITENSPORT - All categories are organized according to the specifications of the Swiss Ice Skating Federation for Breitensport competitions. Please refer to Communication no 13/2014-2015. INTER-GOLD Ladies and Men: no age restrictions ISU Juniors Ladies: 1 bonus point for one 2A neither underrotated nor downgraded Men: 1 bonus point for one triple jump, neither underrotated nor downgraded. SILVER Ladies and Men: no age restrictions ISU Juniors 1 bonus point for one 2A neither underrotated nor downgraded INTER-SILVER Girls: 3 min (+/- 10 sec) Boys: 3 min 30 sec (+/- 10 sec) 1 bonus point for one 2A neither underrotated nor downgraded BRONZE 3 min (+/- 10 sec) Exception: same program content and length for girls and boys. INTER-BRONZE 2 min 30 sec (+/- 10 sec) Inter-bronze STARLET 4 2 min (+/- 10 sec) With no USP test 4
3. Entries and Deadline All ISU members and clubs, members of National Figure Skating Federations associated to ISU, are invited to take part in the competition. In case of too many entries, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to limit the number of participants. Entry must be done with the attached Entry Form. The Entry Form and the Planned Program Content Sheet for each competitor must reach the organizing committee no later than August 20th, 2014 at the following address: Club Pattinaggio Bellinzona CH-6500 Bellinzona E-mail: pattinaggio.cpb@gmail.com 4. Charges Each competitor is requested to pay a 120 CHF or 100 entry fee for USP/ISU categories and 90 CHF or 75 for Breitensport (amateurs) categories. For foreign teams with 4 or more competitors a rebate will be given. Please pay to Club Pattinaggio Bellinzona, IBAN CH92 0900 0000 6500 5475 7, SWIFT-BIC POFICHBEXXX or CCP 65-5475-7. Payments must be made no later than September 9th, 2014. In case of no participation entry fee will not be refunded. 5. Expenses Travel expenses, accommodation and meals are at the charge of the participants. 6. Liability The organizer will provide Medical Emergency Aid during the competition. In accordance with ISU General Regulations, Rule 119, the organizers assume no responsibility for or liability with respect to bodily or personal injury or property damage incurred by participants, officials or third parties in connection with the event. 7. Music Music will be reproduced from a CD-player. Each program (short program, free skating) must be recorded on a separate CD. In addition, competitors must have a backup CD ready for each program. CD s must be submitted at the time of registration. 5
8. Calculation of results The marking system (ISU Judging System as described in ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules Single Skating, Rule 352) will be applied for all categories. 9. Draws The starting order for free skating will be in reverse order of the short program result. Consequently draws will not take place. 10. Awards The three best competitors of each category will be awarded with trophies. All other competitors will receive a medal. 11.
