Ontario Ski Team 2015 2016 Program Overview The program consists of Ontario's finest alpine ski racers who compete and travel throughout the world year round in hopes of fulfilling their dream of one day representing Canada on the National Team.

The Ontario Ski Team (OST) is one of the main properties of Alpine Ontario Alpin with coaches and staff working directly with this team throughout the year. Since its inception in 1977 the OST has been a leader in ski racing development in Ontario, Canada, and the world. Many graduates of the OST have continued to race and achieve international success as part of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team (CAST).

Ontario Ski Team Uniform Each athlete receives all pieces of the uniform as well as anything extra produced throughout the season (toques, caps, t-shirts, etc.) *Valued at $5000/set ** 2 Downhill Suits included

Dryland programming will be coming out shortly with a targeted date of May 5. As was stated in the past, this programming can work as a supplement to your current programming should you be away from your trainer or need a change. Questions on the programming should be directed to Nick Kwasniak at nkwasniak@alpineontario.ca Preparation Period costs including all transportation, race entries, lift tickets, accommodations, dryland testing/camps, and programming are covered by your OST Program Fees Excluding meals and trainer costs *Costs where applicable On-Snow Camp Details: Camp #1 o Technical and Tactical fundamentals will be covered in this camp. Larger free ski volume and drill courses will be emphasized Camp #2 o Speed Fundamentals and Aerodynamics work will be focused on. Technical sessions will be doubled up to increase skiing volumes and maintain technical abilities Camp #3 Camp #4 o o A six-day intensive SL camp to address a need for increased volume of SL gate training pre Nor Am. Camp goal of 3000 SL gates hit Full Pre Race Camp

Competition Period: December 1 April 15 Up to 150 days on snow (Prep & Comp) WOMEN: Junior (1 st year FIS) *Up to 130 days on snow (Prep & Comp) 25 Tech starts (FIS rules) + Select Speed events where permitted U18 Nationals & Senior National Championships (If qualified) Spring Series Senior (U21) MEN: 40+ starts o ALL disciplines (SL/GS/SG/DH) National Championships (If qualified) Spring Series Non-NorAm 40+ starts o ALL disciplines (SL/GS/SG/DH) U18 Nationals & Senior National Championships (If qualified) Spring Series NorAm 40+ starts o ALL disciplines (SL/GS/SG/DH) National Championships (If qualified) Spring Series Targeted Athlete to Coach Ratio 4:1 Competition Period costs including airfare, ground travel, accommodations, race entries, lift tickets, etc. are covered by your OST Program Fees Excluding meals
