The pool has a water depth measured at a minimum of 6 feet from both ends of the walls. 4 additional warm-up/cool-down lanes (4-5 feet deep) Complete Colorado Timing System with Full Color Video Board Spectator Seating w/ upper & lower decks capable of seating between 400-750 depending on meet needs Adaptive Swimming: Ohio Swimming welcomes swimmers with a Disability. Entry Procedures: A. Should enter the swimmer electronically; B. Provide advance notice of any necessary accommodations; C. List in the email with the electronic entry the swimmer s name, entry times, strokes/distances and days/sessions. Preferred seeding is with the swimmer s same age group in either the same distance race or a longer distance race (i.e., 50 free during the 100 free). Exceptions to this should be listed in necessary accommodations. closed out will be notified, so they can attend another meet. Entries close on January 2nd, but we closed out 1 minute after the window opened last year. (Teams will be notified of accepted entries as soon as the meet is full). For the Puppy Mania Meet, all 14 lanes will be assigned warm-up lanes based on the number of entries for the meet. All Teams will have at least 1 lane in the competition pool during their warm-up time. Times will be posted on our website after the meet has closed. Coaches will receive email notification and warm-up assignments will be in the coach packets and posted on the pool deck. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer's legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
Recording Devices: Sand Otter Swimming In compliance with USA Swimming Rules and Regulations the use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms. Under no circumstances are cameras or any other recording device allowed in the area immediately behind the starting blocks at either end of the racing course(s) while they are in use for race starts during the competition and warm-up. Please refer to the Safe Sport section of the Ohio Swimming, Inc. policies and procedures for further information regarding the use of visual recording devices. Deck Changing: In compliance with USA Swimming Rules and Regulations Deck Changes are prohibited. It is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event. Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present.
