FROM VIRTUAL TO REALITY ACT II. ACT I : 2011/ THE STORY BEGINS and this is the fantastic challenge that SIGNATECH and NISSAN accepted in 2011, with full success, claiming the LMP2 Champions title and writing the start of a beautiful story. ACT II : 2012 / JORDAN TRESSON, TAKES UP THE CHALLENGE! This season, SIGNATECH and NISSAN are writing another chapter in this fantastic story, with a new driver FROM THE GAMES CONSOLE Remember back in 2008, the story began with Lucas Ordonez, who became the first winner of the NISSAN PLAYSTATION GT ACADEMY, and who then took part in the GT4 European Cup with a Nissan GT car.. TO REALITY : In 2011, the story took an exceptional turn when Lucas Ordonez took part in both the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup in a 500 hp LMP2 racing prototype, alongside the more experienced SIGNATECH-NISSAN drivers 2011 ILMC LMP2 CHAMPION! After claiming second place in the LMP2 category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, he claimed the ILMC title with the SIGNATECH-NISSAN team, with the help of his co-drivers. FROM THE SOFA TO THE RACE SEAT : In 2012, it will be Jordan Tresson s turn to take over and turn dreams into reality, becoming an official NISSAN driver in the World Endurance Championship. He will be driving an ORECA 03 entered by SIGNATECH-NISSAN alongside Franck Mailleux and Olivier Lombard for the whole of the 2012 season. Having won the 2010 NISSAN PLAYSTATION GT ACADEMY 2010, Jordan made his debut in GT competition, more precisely in the Blancpain Endurance Series, racing an RJN Motorsport Nissan 370Z, where he claimed a class win in the Total 24 Hours of Spa, as well as the title at the end of the year! PLAY START! This season, Jordan Tresson will enter into the world of endurance racing. The first meeting will be in the USA on March 16th / 17th, at the famous SEBRING circuit, for a 12- hour race.
SIGNATECH-NISSAN Team SIGNATECH-NISSAN, a subsidiary of the Signature Group, created by Philippe Sinault in 1990, has been the official NISSAN team since 2011. Reigning World Endurance Champions in the LMP2 category, and 2 nd in the LMP2 category in the 2011 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, SIGNATECH-NISSAN will, this season, be entering, once again, a prototype car "powered by Nissan" in the World Endurance Championship. With 21 years of experience at the top level of single-seater competition, and four years of endurance competition at world level, the team is undoubtedly one of the forces to be reckoned with in international motorsport, with a career record that includes 76 wins, 47 Pole positions, 472 Podiums, 47 lap records and 15 titles. Entering the FIA WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP, SIGNATECH-NISSAN will proudly bear the colours of Nissan and Playstation on three continents for the eight-race season (Sebring, Spa, Le Mans, Silverstone, Sao Paulo, Bahrain, Fuji and Shanghai). The aim of SIGNATECH-NISSAN this year is to retain their title as LMP2 World Champions, to repeat the performances from 2011 and to climb onto the top step during the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. The ORECA 03-NISSAN #23 will be in the hands of Franck Mailleux, Olivier Lombard and Jordan Tresson, the winner of the 2010 GT ACADEMY, who is following on from Lucas Ordonez.
