However, his father who thinks that Iqbal s daydreams are a waste of time discourages him. Instead, he wants Iqbal to help him tend to the crops and become a farmer like him, which would be a stable profession. Iqbal's sister, Khadija however, helps him try out for a nearby academy run by Guruji, an influential former India captain, who accepts him for his talent. However, when Iqbal has a fight with a rich boy, Kamal, who is also the star of the academy, Guruji throws him out out of fear of Kamal's father, who bankrolls the academy. Iqbal seeks help from the local drunkard, Mohit, who was once a great cricketer and persuades him to be his coach. They are able to train in a nearby field, using Iqbal's buffaloes (named after actual members of the Indian cricket team) as fielders. Mohit trains Iqbal and gets him a place on the Andhra Pradesh Ranji Trophy team, despite Iqbal not having any previous cricketing experience. Iqbal plays marvellously for the team, which was initially a weak team, and is soon noticed by the press and cricket selectors alike. However, when the final match of the season pits Iqbal against his nemesis, Kamal, Guruji tries to bribe Iqbal to bowl badly, so that the national team scouts at the game would select Kamal for the national cricket team. Iqbal succumbs to his offer, out of concern for his father, who is facing financial difficulties and may lose his lands. Luckily, a sports agent is able to offer him a better deal, and Iqbal bowls with his usual fiery pace and wins the match for his team. He also impresses the onlooking national team selector Kapil Dev, and wins a place in the national team. 2. Domain Description The Story of Iqbal is the domain that we are considering Iqbal. 2

5. DETAILED REQUIREMENTS The story has to be framed in such a way that readers or listeners find it incredibly interesting and entertaining. The writer has done a remarkable work by creating a realistic story and has taken out emotions out of a Deaf and Dumb boy, through his Sign Language and Facial Expressions. The writer also created a beautiful relationship between the boy and his buffaloes, there by ending up creating a masterpiece. We can think of requirements from two different perspectives. One is requirements for modeling the story and the other is requirements of the story. 5.1 Requirements of the story Iqbal : Thus, a story has its own requirements without which it loses its worth. In the story of Iqbal, the foremost requirement is how to show the emotions of a Deaf and Dumb boy, who has his goals and aspirations to succeed in life. Therefore, in order to achieve his goal he takes the help of his Sister, his Coach, Buffaloes and Ox. The story is not complete without the creatures like Buffaloes and Ox. Some of these requirements are here. The story requires a lead character Iqbal, who is exceptional in his traits and acquires the central position in the story. His sister Khadija acts as an interpreter. Khadija and his coach Mohit are his only friends. Mohit and Guruji make up his coaches, who teach him Cricket Skills. Guruji is the villain in the story, who does not want Iqbal to achieve his goal. Then, there are creatures like Buffalos, Ox that help Iqbal to learn Cricket. Thus, these unique characters form the foundation of the story. Each of these has some specific roles and traits, which are essential to shape up their roles in the story. The story revolves around Iqbal, who is a deaf and dumb by birth, from childhood he is a big fan of cricket and dreams of playing for India. He belongs to a poor family and his father discouraged him from playing cricket. He wants Iqbal to help him in the fields by cutting the crops and become a farmer like him. His sister Khadija supported him and encouraged him to pursue Cricket. As he belonged to the poor family, he could not afford the coaching from the first coach named Guruji. He used to hide behind the Buffaloes and notice his coaching techniques. One day Guruji saw him practicing and offered him a place in his coaching class. However, when Iqbal has a fight with a rich boy, Kamal, who is also the star of the academy, Guruji throws him out out of fear of Kamal's father, who bankrolls the academy. Then Iqbal seeks help of a drunkard, Mohit, who was once a great cricketer and persuades him to be his coach. Iqbal pursue his cricket training in a nearby field, using buffaloes as fielders. His sister Khadija helped him to convey his thoughts to the coach because the coach Mohit was not familiar with the sign language before. Mohit trains him with the help of Buffaloes, used buffaloes as fielders, and put each one a number. He calls a number and asks him to bowl such that a batsman 6

can hit in that particular direction only. Mohit helps him get a place at the Andhra Pradesh Ranji Trophy Team, despite of not having any previous cricketing experience. Iqbal plays marvelously for the team, which was initially a weak team, and is soon noticed by the press and cricket selectors alike. The behavior of actors and their interactions with the system clearly elucidate the activities and events that are happening in the story. The Ranji Trophy tournament is also a significant scenario, which makes Iqbal to be noticed by the selectors. 5.2 Requirements for modeling the story: First, requirement is thorough knowledge and understanding of the story. Knowledge about main characters, roles they play, activities associated with them, talent they possess, the problem they face and the final goal they achieve. We have to take care of even minute details that are necessary for story to make sense. Here the creature(buffaloes), his sister(khajida), his coach(mohit) play a vital role in creating and changing the world of Iqbal and help his dream come true. Understanding the roles and importance of characters and how they relate with incidents in the story, is again important to efficiently model the story. Another important requirement to model this story is a clear understanding of the system and actors that use the system. Identifying the actors that interact with the system is the vital challenge. Iqbal, Mohit, Khajida, Guruji and buffaloes are some of the major characters which can be treated as actors and have specific roles. There are countless interactions among these characters via system. Covering all the significant interactions that occur in the story is necessary for completeness of the model. Another major requirement for effective modeling is proper division of story into significant components that can be treated as use cases. The story of Iqbal is a set of large number of scenarios and activities that join to formulate the whole story. Deciding on how to choose significant use cases out of the story and to make sure that these are independent of each other is another important issue to consider. 6. Use Cases & User Context: Daily Chores: 6.1 Milk the Buffalo: After his father wakes him up in the morning, the first task assigned to him is to milk the buffaloes.
