DUKE Thursday s game will be just the second alltime meeting between the two programs as the fi rst also came as part of the challenge. The then No. 3 Buckeyes went to No. 11 Duke on Dec. 3, 2009 and the Blue Devils came away with an 83-67 victory. The win came despite 20 points and 18 rebounds from OSU All-American Jantel Lavender. Former Buckeye assistant coach Joy Cheek scored four points and had an assist for Duke in the win. BUCKEYES AT CAMERON INDOOR Four Buckeyes have played a game at the iconic Cameron Indoor Stadium. Sierra Calhoun, of course, began her collegiate career at Duke, playing and starting the fi rst 13 games of the 2014-15 season. In her eight games at Cameron that season, she averaged 12.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists per game and made a total of 14 threes. Stephanie Mavunga played twice at Cameron in her two years at North Carolina. She scored two points, grabbed fi ve rebounds and had three blocks in a win as a freshman. She then scored 11 points and had nine rebounds and three blocks in a loss as a sophomore. Linnae Harper played against Calhoun and the Blue Devils in Cameron as a sophomore on Dec. 21, 2014. Duke won the game and Harper had two points and fi ve boards while Calhoun had 13 points and 7 rebounds. Head coach Kevin McGuff coached one game in Cameron as Xavier head coach in 2010 (but don't ask him about it). He lost the game 46-45 and may or may not have been around to see how it ended. BUCKEYES IN THE BIG TEN/ACC CHALLENGE Ohio State is 2-8 in the history of the Big Ten/ ACC Challenge, with the fi rst three games coming against Top 10 competition. In 2007 the Buckeyes lost at No. 3 Maryland before losing a close one at home in 2008 to No. 2 North Carolina. Four years ago the Buckeyes led on the road at No. 10 Duke early in the second half before the Blue Devils pulled away for the victory. In 2010 Ohio State picked up its fi rst win, a 74-46 win over Virginia at St. John Arena, before defeating Florida State, 78-75, in overtime in 2012 when Tayler Hill poured in 31 points. Last season, the Buckeyes dropped an overtime heart-breaker to Miami 94-89 at Value City Arena. Sierra Calhoun hit a 3-pointer at the regulation buzzer to tie it at 84. Then, Hayes 3-pointer with 2:30 left in overtime put Miami ahead to stay in the game that featured 13 lead changes. Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 29 points on 5-for-11 3-point shooting, and Shayla Cooper added 17 points and 11 rebounds. Laura Cornelius added 11 points, and Erykah Davenport had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Hurricanes. Ohio State came from behind to lead 22-17 after the fi rst period on the strength of a 10-0 run to fi nish it. But the Buckeyes went cold, and Miami surged ahead on an 11-0 run and led at the half 41-30. Ohio State hit just 2 of 12 shots from the fl oor in the second quarter, and was just 1 for 13 from 3-point range in the fi rst half. The Buckeyes had their lowest scoring quarter of the young season in the second quarter with just eight points. Ohio State also had its best and worst shooting quarters of the season back-to-back as it shot just 16.7 percent in the second and 78.6 percent in the third. The Buckeyes were 21-of-28 (75 percent) shooting after halftime. 1,000 WINS IN SCHOOL HISTORY Ohio State is the winningest program in the Big Ten and on Nov. 15 vs. Idaho, became the fi rst team in the conference 1,000 wins. The Buckeyes are just the ninth program in NCAA history to notch 1,000 victories. Overall, Ohio State is 1,005-428 for a.701 winning percentage. 5

GET EM IN EARLY The Buckeyes opened the season by playing nine games in the fi rst three weeks of the season. That is nearly a third of the team's 30 regular season games in the opening three weeks. The Buckeyes opened with two games against top-10 teams in the fi rst three days of the year and went 1-1. They then played three games in a fi ve-day stretch before heading to Las Vegas over Thanksgiving weekend for three games in three days. The game vs. Duke on Nov. 30 marks three weeks since the start of the season. 17 THREES TIES A RECORD Ohio State made 17 three-pointers in its game against No. 9 Louisville on Nov. 12, tying the school's single-game record. The Buckeyes also made 17 threes against Penn State on Feb. 7, 2010. Kelsey Mitchell made seven of the 17 three-pointers. Asia Doss (5) and Linnae Harper (3) each set career-highs for three-pointers made in the game. MAGIC NUMBER 70 Head coach Kevin McGuff s style of fast paced offense leads to more possessions and hopefully more points. Since he took over at the start of the 2013-14 season, the Buckeyes are 74-10 when scoring at least 80 points and 92-20 when scoring at least 70 points. Dating back to the 2009-10 season, the Buckeyes have won 52 of the last 55 games when sharing on 20 or more of their fi eld goals. The Buckeyes hit the 20-assist mark 14 times last season and two times already this season. HITTING THE GLASS When the Buckeyes win the battle on the boards, they usually end up winning the game. Ohio State is 58-4 under McGuff when out-rebound the opponent. 153-STRAIGHT WITH A THREE Ohio State has made at least one three-point fi eld goal in 150-straight games. The last time the Buckeyes failed to make a three-pointer in a game was on Feb. 10, 2013 at Northwestern. OSU was 0-of-6 from long range that game. Over the streak, the Buckeyes have made 10 or more threes in a game 32 times. Ohio State has made 34.9 percent (1,092-3,133) of its shots from beyond the arc and is averaging 7.1 threes per game during the streak. 26 REBOUNDS??? Stephanie Mavunga set the OSU single-game record by grabbing 26 rebounds in the season-opening win over No. 10 Stanford on Nov. 10. She broke Mary Sivak's previous mark of 25 set way back on March 3, 1979. Mavunga's previous single-game high was 17. She also added 17 points in the game marking her 39th career double-double. MITCHELL PASSES KATIE SMITH Anytime you move past a legend like Katie Smith on a career chart, you know you've accomplished something. Kelsey Mitchell scored 30 points in the season-opening win over No. 10 Stanford and passed Smith on the OSU scoring charts. Mitchell moved into second place, passing Smith's career mark of 2,578 career points. 6 NATIONAL POLLS ASSOCIATED PRESS (NOV. 27) Rk. Team (No. 1 Votes) Rec.
