The Outlaws are led on offense by All-Star midfielder Drew Snider, who is tied for fourth in the MLL in two point goals (2) and goals (23), and seventh in the MLL with 32 points. Snider has scored eight goals over the last three games, including netting his second two-pointer of the season last week against Rochester. Snider is joined on the offensive end by All-Star attackman Eric Law, who is tied for 12 th in the MLL with 25 points (18 goals, 7 assists), despite only playing in six games. Law has two five-goal games this season, most recently against Rochester last week. All-Star defenseman Michael Simon headlines the Outlaws' defense, and has picked up 16 ground balls this season while leading the Outlaws with eight caused turnovers. The Outlaws are looking to avenge a 21-18 loss at the hands of the Lizards in Hempstead in Week 7. Down 10 goals at one point late in the third quarter, the Outlaws mounted a furious comeback attempt, only to see it fall just short. In last week s 19-11 loss against the Rattlers, the Outlaws got off to another slow start, falling behind 7-4 in the first quarter and found themselves down 10-5 at half and were unable to dig themselves out. All-Star attackman Eric Law led the Outlaws with five goals and added an assist, but Rattlers attackman Jordan Wolf s 10 point game (6 goals, 4 assists) powered Rochester past the Outlaws. The Lizards boast two 30-point players in attackman Rob Pannell (37) and midfielder Paul Rabil (31). New York owns a 6-1 record on the season and has won four straight games dating back to May 21.
CAPTAINS CALLING Matt Bocklet, Jeremy Sieverts and Drew Snider have been named the captains for the 2016 Denver Outlaws. Matt Bocklet begins his eighth season with the Outlaws and has been a ground ball machine for Denver in his time. Sieverts and Snider have been stellar midfielders for the Outlaws for the past four seasons. Last season, the two finished second and third in scoring for the team with Sieverts scoring 47 points, including three two-point goals, and Snider scoring 46 points, including a team-high 35 goals. BOCKLET BROTHERS The Bocklet brothers are back on the Outlaws. Michael Bocklet was Denver s leading scorer in his first MLL season a year ago after scoring seven points in the Outlaws final game against New York. Chris and Matt have been contributing to Denver consistently over the years. Chris scored 30 points in 12 games last season and holds the Denver single-season goals record with 42 in 2013. Matt picked up a single-season career-high 83 ground balls as one of the five Outlaws to play in every game of 2015. UPCOMING MILESTONES Jeremy Sieverts is one game-winning goal shy of the Outlaws record with nine. HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE The Outlaws are 4-1 in their last five home games, dating back to July 19, 2015, and sport a 13-4 record at home dating back to the 2014 season. The Outlaws have never lost to the Lizards at home and own a 17-5 overall record against New York/Long Island. Eric Law has recorded two five-goal games this season. Only four players have recorded three five-goal games in a single season in Outlaws history. SNIDER THE SNIPER All-Star midfielder Drew Snider leads the Outlaws in goals (23), two point goals (2) and points (32). Snider's 23 goals and two two-point goals rank fourth-best in the MLL, and his 32 points rank seventh-best in the MLL.
