Portrait of an open format DJ August Martin is set to release a Mix Compilation with MTV Base on Universal Records which will be marketed across all forms of media including TV and Radio. October 2016 DJ at the 2016 London Six Day Event at the Olympic Velodrome, performing to 10,000 people across the event. June 2016 Started an Arena and Stadium tour of the USA and Canada with Gwen Steffani and Eve. March 2016 Started hosting a Mix Show across the nation on Live Capital FM with Ministry of Sound at the Weekends. Jan 2016 DJed in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. June Voted London s Best DJ at the London Club and Bar Awards. 2006 2007 Gained first residency for London s biggest student night, Milkshake at the world-famous Ministry of Sound. Collaborating with stars such as Trevor Nelson, Jazzy Jeff, Shortee Blitz and Mark Ronson. 2008 2010 Martin started working with Ministry of Sound Tours. This saw him DJ ing all over the world. September 2016 DJ ed to the President of Azerbaijan, In Baku. 2011 2013 Residency secured at the biggest club in the world, Pacha, Ibiza. May 2016 Martin completed his first Gumball 3000 Rally and was the official DJ for it. He was voted the Rally s most stylish man by Gumball 3000 and will get to design a range of hats with New Era. 2014 Martin hosted a weekly show on BBC 1Xtra, played to over 15,000 people on the MTV stage at V Festival and DJ d to David Cameron! Feb 2016 Toured The Middle East - Cairo, Abu Dhabi, Dubai. 2015 Martin toured Asia in April - he then DJ ed at the 6 Day Cycle competition at the centre of London s Olympic Velodrome to 8,000 people. Following this he became resident DJ for Chris Evans Channel 4 show, TFI Friday.
