ACCREDITATION & CONTROL OF NATIONALITY The competitors must be registered by their National Federation, in a document signed by the President or the General Secretary. Each competitor will be checked his/her identity, age and nationality by his/her official passport of the country of origin. The natives of Panama by passport or official identity card. 7. Persons without IJF ID Card can only be entered on spot, if IJF ID Card will be ordered until end of Accreditation. Persons, who are banned by their Federation, cannot be entered as late entry or replacement. 8. DEADLINES 12 de June 2015 9. WEIGH IN The official weigh in of athletes will be scheduled the day before the competition (see program). Athletes will be weighted according to the rules of the IJF, underwear, and before the official weigh, athletes must present their passport and their respective accreditation for the event in order to verify the identity of the competitor. All athletes must be members of federations affiliated to the Panamerican Judo Confederation. 10. COMPETITON MODE The competition will be conducted in accordance with the latest IJF SOR and IJF Refereeing Rules. Competition systems according to the number of participants: 6 and more entries: Direct eliminatory with cross double repechage. 3, 4, 5 entries: Round robin. Competitors in cadet categories sub 18 may participate in junior (under-21). 11. DRAW The draw will take place on Friday. (See program) 12. REFEREEING The event will take place in accordance with the Regulations in Force of the International Judo Federation (IJF), adopted by the Panamerican Judo Confederation (CPJ). Athletes cadets may participate in the junior categories and they do not require reweighed. The use of blue and white Judoguis, be binding without exception with regulatory measures. Special Refereeing Rules for Cadets: Application of kansetsu-waza is allowed and should continue until Maitta, tapping twice or the contestant is incapacitated by the effect of kansetsu-waza. Application of shime waza is allowed. An athlete who has lost consciousness due to shime
waza is not allowed to continue the competition. 13. COACHING All coaches must fully adhere to the Code of Conduct for Judo Coaches. Dress Code Draw: Jacket suit and tie. Elimination rounds: National track suit with trousers reaching down to shoes or jacket suit with tie. Final block: Jacket suit with tie. 14. TRANSPORT The Organizing Committee will provide the participating countries transportations from Tocumen International Airport to hotel and from hotel to the Arena Roberto Duran and vice versa. 15. According to the new standard promulgated by IJF December 2, 2012 in Tokyo "... the Organizer country should not request penalty payment for countries that cannot make bank transfers, but can be paid in cash upon arrival. Furthermore, they must inform well the host country in advance and specify the number of participants before the deadline. 17. EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE: The Organizing Committee will provide Medical Service of Emergency to all the participants officially enrolled by their National Federation. In case of being necessary any extraordinary medical attention as injury and / or illness requiring hospitalization, treatment, surgery and medication, costs shall be assumed by the National Federation that the competitor represents. Therefore, all participating Federations exempt from liability to the CPJ, the Organizing Committee, the Puerto Rican Judo Federation and the Organizing Committee for any mishap happened during training and competition. It is emphasized and they are requested special attention to all delegations on each National Federation is responsible for its competitors (as). Sex control is the responsibility of each National Federation, and must assume all responsibility for accident and health insurance as well as the civil liabilities for their competitors and officials. The Pan American Judo Confederation, Panama United Judo Federation and the Organizing Committee of the Caribbean Judo Championships will not be responsible for any claims, injuries or death. In the event of any legal action, quasi-judicial, administrative or regulatory proceeding is brought in which any member National Federation and / or Pan American Judo Confederation required to expend resources to defend itself and / or the sport of Judo, then the Member National Federation shall bear any and all responsibility for indemnify and hold harmless the Panamerican Judo Confederation against any legal action, costs and impacts that could occur as a result of legal action. 20. CONTINGENCIES All matters not covered in this Call shall be resolved by the Executive Committee of the Pan American Judo Confederation, and the Panama United Judo Federation.
