Consieration nees to be given to putting a sleeve aroun the moving pole on the village pump Stephen Britt 27/04/2017 Action Hazar : Uneven, Wet or Slippery Floors Risk of slips from wet surfaces aroun the water exhibits; risk of trips, falls, cuts an bruises from uneven surfaces in the iscovery park 1. Moles are kept uner control as much as possible an mole hill soil is istribute aroun the Discovery Park to fill any holes mae by the rabbits. 2. Ongoing maintenance to minimise trip hazars aroun the safe surfaces in the iscovery park an the water play areas. 3. Staff check for rabbit holes when they put out the Discovery Park equipment an any holes that may cause problems are either fille in or rope off 4. The surface aroun the water circuit is of a metal non-slip type; access is restricte to the inner part of the circuit by barriers an regular staff patrols make sure that any chilren gaining access to the inner area are aske to vacate immeiately 5. If the grass becomes very wet an the groun poache an rutte aroun the water play area then significant parts are rope off. 6. Surfaces aroun the Erosion, Granite ball an water play tanks are a rubberise, non-slip type. This is kept as clean as possible. Water that has accumulate uner the water play tanks is remove using a squeegee mop. 7. The rabbit population is kept uner control as far as possible Further Control Measures Require: Ae Documents Assignee Date Status 1. Attempt to keep on top of the rabbit population an keep monitoring the rabbit holes an the extent of the holes. Paul Skipper 27/02/2016 Overue 2. New surfaces are require aroun the exhibits in the Discovery Park Sanra Voss 30/09/2016 Complete 3. There is a small area where the concrete has slightly crumble. This nees smoothing off an the grasse area raising up slightly to minimise any trip hazar Paul Skipper 05/08/2016 Complete Hazar : Balance Boar Risk of falling from the boar when in use Page: 2 5 Copyright PBS 2016 Date Generate: 19/04/2017 14:11:12
