The water circuit is emptie an thoroughly cleane at least once per week in the winter months an twice per week when the weather is warmer; the village pump tube is bleache when require an all bleach solution is collecte an iscare own the toilet. 2. Dilute bromine is ae to each well of the water circuit when it is fille up after cleaning, the water is teste an the levels recore. If the levels are low more ilute bromine solution is ae an more bromine tablets are ae to the working solution. 3. From April to October ilute bromine is ae to at least one of the 3 wells each ay, accoring to the aily cleaning scheule. All aitions of bromine are recore. 4. All water areas other than the water circuit which is cleane accoring to the scheule mentione, are cleane regularly an water tanks raine an cleane as necessary. 5. The water tornao is cleane regularly an sterilising flui is ae to the correct ilution; the water is containe within the exhibit an is therefore low risk 6. Slow release bromine tablets are ae to a floating cage in the main unergroun water tanks that supply water to the Granite Ball/Erosion an the Water Play tanks. The levels are teste regularly an recore with further tablets being ae when necessary. 7. Both water tanks for the water play area an the granite ball/erosion exhibit are emptie at the en of the season. Staff check for rabbit holes when they put out the Discovery Park equipment an any holes that may cause problems are either fille in or rope off 4. The surface aroun the water circuit is of a metal non-slip type; access is restricte to the inner part of the circuit by barriers an regular staff patrols make sure that any chilren gaining access to the inner area are aske to vacate immeiately 5. If the grass becomes very wet an the groun poache an rutte aroun the water play area then significant parts are rope off. 6. Surfaces aroun the Erosion, Granite ball an water play tanks are a rubberise, non-slip type. This is kept as clean as possible. Elastic rope an chain is fitte to the exhibit to prevent the Ear from being swung roun too far; this is checke on a regular basis Hazar : Big Lever Risk of falls an associate injuries from the rope; risk of tripping over the concrete bases. 1. Ault supervision is require at all times when in the iscovery park as per sign at entrance into Discovery Park. 2. The concrete bases are painte bright yellow to make them as visible as possible 3. The only control measure is the signage into the Discovery Park saying that chilren must be accompanie by an ault in the Discovery Park at all times. 2. The pales for the slap pipes are checke to make sure they are securely fitte. They are mae from soli foam an are therefore very light an the risk of injury is very small. Hazar : Wheel Race Risk of cuts an bruises if the wheel falls from the en of the track 1. There are 2 en stops at each en of each track. These are checke every morning when the Discovery Park equipment is put out (accoring to training an the aily sheet of instructions).
