Oregon Coast Seminar 2018 Sept 7-16 2018 Hello to my Awesome Students, This is a 10 day seminar and the cost is $995 with a deposit to hold your spot of $495. Here are some of the details: We start at 6pm on Friday Night Sept 8 th for Sunset on Cannon Beach We will keep our lodging on Cannon Beach for 2 nights, while we shoot Haystack Rock and the Needles, we will shoot Ecola State Park, and Hug Point. There will opportunities for Hotel, Motel or Camping at this location. We will then move our lodging to the Central Oregon Coast for a three night stay Sept 10-13, where you can also stay in a hotel or camp. Yachats or Waldorf, or Florence would all be acceptable for this segment of class with Yachats being the best. During this class we will shoot Cape Perpetua, including Thor s Well, Spouting Horn and Devils Churn. We will also visit and Heceta Head Lighthouse, and Yaquina Head
Lighthouse. This area has so much to offer I could not possible list it all. It will keep us plenty busy with all its fantastic Beauty Heceta Head Lighthouse is my favorite lighthouse on the entire Oregon Coast! Thor s Well is an optical illusion, like the ocean is draining itself! Then we will move on to our final lodging location which will be Bandon Oregon. There will once again be opportunity for hotels or camping and we will have a 4 night stay, with your class ending after Sunrise on Sunday Sept 16 th. So if you need to make it
home Sunday night, you can. In this class we will visit many locations with our focus being Sunrise and Sunset from Face Rock Beach. In my opinion this is the greatest photography beach on the planet, with Face Rock, the Magicians Hat, the Wizards Hat and hundreds of other sea stacks of all shapes and sizes. We will also shoot Cape Blanco Lighthouse, Coquille lighthouse, Shore Acres State Park, and if we have a cloudy day, we will hit the Redwoods, and Golden and Silver Falls. This is my favorite area on entire Oregon Coast and again has more to offer than I can list. We will not be bored! Please scroll all the way down and check out the images. Golden Falls is an image maker! Cape Blanco Lighthouse is not to be missed! Many images will be made on our side trip to the Redwoods!
Face Rock is one of the stars of Face Rock Beach, but with hundreds of Sea Stacks, it is difficult to pick a favorite. Luckily we do not have to! We will photograph them all! Silver Falls, is a magical waterfall indeed!
The Magicians Hat is another Highlight not to be missed on Face Rock Beach. Trust me when I say this beach may become your favorite beach in the country! Lodging: There are plenty camping and lodging choices at every stop, and when you sign up you will receive a detailed email highlighting them and all the other information you need to plan your amazing adventure on the Oregon Coast. Hiking: The hiking in this class I would rate as easy. Most all of the hikes are flat, and the longest hike will be Golden and Silver Falls with a round trip total of 4 miles. If you can hike 4 miles on a trail, you can take this class. Most of our hikes are actually just walks to the beach, then on the beach.
