To be the FEI champion the horse must compete in two FEI classes and the appropriate freestyle for its level (see starting possibilities in the current EA Rules for Dressage). The selection of the Pony Champion will be made by combining the performances of consecutive level classes (either Preliminary and Novice or Novice and Elementary or Elementary and Medium etc) and using the ranking points system as per the EA Rules for Dressage. Where there is an equality of points, the Championship will be decided according to percentages. Amateur Owner-Riders (AOR) must nominate as AOR when entering.
