1 Wall Rack Model: 850460 The Wall Rack is ideal for small, indoor spaces. Ideally suited to bike rooms in office or apartment buildings, the Wall Rack allows for a higher volume of use in a limited space. 4 4-Way Bike Hanger Post Model: 850470 This rack is a unique system for storing up to 4 bikes securely off the floor, and the rear wheel tray prevents damage from swaying bikes. 14-28 Bike Stall This option is modular and easy to assemble with secure locking components. You can easily increase parking capacity without having to purchase a new stall system. Capabilities Components A single Bike Stall fits 14 bikes in the space required for one car. With an end rack on either side of the stall, cyclists are separated from the flow of vehicular traffic. Model: 854000 End Rack Model: 854000-E End Racks are used as both a stabilizing component and a barrier between vehicles and cyclists. Mid Rack Model: 854000-M The Working Module is the component that bikes will be secured to. A Double Bike Stall fits 28 bikes in the space required for two cars. With an end rack on either side of the stall, cyclists are separated from the flow of vehicular traffic. Model: 854000-1A (Single Bike Stall with one add-on) Joining Post Model: 854000-J Joins and stabilizes two Mid Racks and provides additional bike capacity. The Alternating Double Bike Stall allows for cyclists to enter from either side of the stall and keeps a comfortable space between bikes. Bike Parking Design Considerations 0-3 Hours Short Term Parking 3+ Hours Long Term Parking Location The bike parking area should be located near a major entrance. Convenience Parking area should be easy to access from the cycling route. Visibility The bike rack should be easily visible from the road and not be in an isolated area. Weather Protection Bike and bike accessories (such as paniers) should be kept dry while bikes are parked. Space The user can comfortably maneuver around their bike to lock and unlock it. Security Parking area should be well lit, free of hiding places and a video monitor should be visible to the user. Safety Bike racks should have ample space surrounding them to avoid any collisions with surrounding structures. Availability Plan your space according to potential maximum capacity. A satin finish is typically provided, but other surface finishes may be available upon request. Mounting Options Surface Mount The metal base plates are secured to the concrete using anchor bolts. Various anchor bolt types, including tamper resistant, are available upon request. In-Ground/Embedded The bike rack is embedded in one or more concrete footings, typically 18-24 deep. Rail Rack The bike racks are anchored together on rails which can be secured to the concrete or left as portable rail racks.
