Please Read 1 Spectators must not stand in prohibited areas, and must at all times stand behind the bunting or barriers which mark the spectator area. 2 The instructions of the Spectator Marshals must be obeyed. The Spectator Marshall has the power to have a stage postponed until the spectator point is controlled to his / her satisfaction. 3 It is prohibited to ignore the spectator instructions and find your own way around. Not only is there a danger of meeting up with an oncoming rally vehicle, but many roads have wash-aways, collapsed bridges, etc. which are potentially hazardous for the driver. The main spectator route has been surveyed and is safe. Motor Sport Activities are inherently dangerous recreational activities and there is significant risk of injury, disability or death. If you choose to participate in these activities and you are killed or injured because the activities were not supplied with due care and skill or were not reasonably fit for their purpose, your rights to sue the Confederation of Australia Motor Sport Ltd (CAMS) and/or the Entities* are excluded, restricted or modified. For full details of the exclusion, restriction or modification of your rights please refer to http://www.cams.com.au/get-involved/events/disclaimers. *A full list of CAMS associated entities can be viewed at http://www.cams.com.au/get-involved/events/disclaimers. A copy of the full disclaimer is also available at Rally HQ the Bay Waters Resort

Service Park Mackay Park, Batemans Bay Before the start, and again from about 3:00pm and 6:30pm the vehicles and their crews will be at Mackay Park (near the Mini-Golf) getting fuel, tyres and whatever running repairs may be required. Ceremonial Start The teams will be assembled in Clyde Street along the waterfront from 11:30am onwards so come along and meet the crews and see the cars. You can listen to the Competitors Briefing at 11:45 and then hear them being introduced and flagged away for the day from 12:15 onwards. Spectator Point 1 Ross Ridge This is in the 1 st & 4 th stages of the event: 1 st Car Due Stage 1 12:45, Stage 4 4:10pm Cars approach up a wide sweeping road and then left over a crest before heading away down a sweeping right hander. A great view from a safe location on top of a bank. Note: Please make sure to leave the access road usable, so others can get out and emergency vehicles can have access if required. Directions to get there: From Batemans Bay, travel south along the Princes Highway towards Mogo. You need to travel 6.1km from the Caltex garage on the left as you head out of town and then turn right with EXTREME CAUTION into Runnyford Rd. This turn is on a crest on the Highway and oncoming traffic can be difficult to see drive 5m further than you would normally and turn from there! Travel along Runnyford Rd for 1.1km then turn left into Ross Ridge Rd and travel a further 6km. Parking is available off to the right hand side of the road along a ridge please take care if parking along Ross Ridge Rd itself as it is narrow at this point and may be needed for emergency vehicle access. When leaving the area please be aware of 2-way traffic and again use EXTREME CAUTION when turning back onto the Highway (left turn ONLY)

DO S AND DONT S OF SPECTATING (Please read) 1. Cars under competition conditions can lose control and leave the defined road at any time. Do not stand in any areas which are not authorised or which are contrary to the advice of the organisers and officials/marshals. 2. Be prepared. Weather wise, bring hats, ground cover, sun screen and protection in case of rain or cold weather. Food and drink outlets may be provided at the spectator point (refer spectator instructions), but if not, ensure you have some of your own food and drinks available. 3. Park your car sensibly so that it will not obstruct emergency vehicles, competitors, service crews or other spectators. In all cases obey parking instructions given by supervising officials. It is usually best to park your car facing the way out. 4. Do not try to emulate rally drivers. Remember that if you give cause for complaint it will reflect badly on the rally and the sport as a whole. Drive carefully both to and from spectator viewing areas, and be ready to give way if necessary on narrow stretches of road. 5. Please do not take dogs or young children to spectator points. If you have to, make sure they are completely under your control and please make sure that animals and children do not get in the way of competing cars or mechanics or officials when they are working. 6. Do not light fires or smoke in the forests. Do not smoke near a car that is being serviced or refueled. 7. At all times keep clear of controls, including from the timing marker to the control area. If control officials ask you to move, please help them by doing so - remember they have a job to do which can be difficult enough as it is. If you do want to see a control point in action, remember to stand well back from the control area. 8. Take your entire litter home with you - it is handy to have a bag or carton in your boot. Cans and paper do not help beautify our forests. 9. At service points do not crowd mechanics when they are working. They would not appreciate it. Neither will you if someone drops a wheel or a sump guard on your foot!

Spectator Point 2 Lookout This is in the 2 nd & 5 th stages of the event: 1 st Car Due Stage 2 1:50pm, Stage 5 5:20pm (it will get dark, don t forget a torch) Cars approach from the left and proceed through here before heading away up a sweeping hill. Directions to get there: From Batemans Bay, travel north along the Princes Highway. From the intersection of the Kings Hwy, travel towards Ulladulla for 7.7km and TURN LEFT onto Lookout Rd (this is just after a rest area / vehicle checking point on the left). Please be considerate of the residents and drive quietly and slowly for the first 600m. The spectator point is 3km from the turnoff. TURN AROUND and park allowing enough room for other vehicles to pass. Note: This gravel road is generally in very good condition. Be cautious of 2 way traffic.

Spectator Point 3 River Road This is in the final (8 th ) stage of the event: 1 st Car Due 8:35pm Remember not all the crews will be doing the last 2 stages so the action here will be over by 10:00pm time to head back to Bay Waters Resort for the presentation function This is a long flowing right hand bend and the viewing is from a bank on the inside of the corner see plenty of sideways attitude (in the dark). Directions to get there: From Batemans Bay you need to turn left at the Princes Highway / Kings Highway roundabout (the new Caltex garage) towards Nelligen/Braidwood. You need to travel 16.2km along the Kings Highway, through Nelligen, and then turn right into Black Flat Rd. Follow Black Flat Rd for 10km (keep left at the Marilyns Rd corner at about 4.4km) and then park as directed. As always please be aware of two way traffic and follow vehicles at a safe distance these access roads are not safe for overtaking and showering other vehicles with rocks and dust is not appreciated!
