The Norwegian Ski Association invites to the OPEN NORDIC JUNIOR SKI COMPETITION 2013 Trondheim, Norway, 18th -20th January 2013 Each of the Nordic nations (DEN-EST-FIN-ISL-LAT-LIT-NOR-SWE) is invited to Nordic Junior Ski Competition in Cross Country, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined. Other European nations are also invited to the different competitions. Organizers are Sør- Trøndelag Skikrets, Strindheim Idrettslag and Byåsen Idrettslag. All competitions (Cross- Country, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined) will take place at Granåsen Skiarena in Trondheim. This is a preliminary timetable. Changes may occur. Entries 1st Entry by January 1th 2013 the latest: The participation entry of the team and number of athletes Hotel reservation 2nd Entry by January 12th 2013 the latest: All teams must be entered with name, birthday, FIS-code and sex. Entry fee There is no entry fee for the Nordic nations who participate in the nation competition. Additional competitors from these countries and other countries will pay 120 NOK for an individual start and 360 NOK per each relay team. We will send invoices to cover the entry fee. Teams: Each of the Nordic nations (DEN-EST-FIN-ISL-LAT-LIT-NOR-SWE) may enter an unlimited number of participants. For the nations competition of the Nordic Junior Ski Competition only a limited number of competitors from each nation DEN- EST-FIN-ISL-LAT-LIT-NOR-SWE will count (see description below). These competitors must be clearly designed in the entry. Each nation can enter: 1. Ski Jumping boys 4 athletes born 1997 or 1998 2. Ski Jumping ladies athletes born in 1993 and younger (new disciplin!) 3. Nordic Combined 4 athletes born 1995 or 1996 4. Cross Country 6 women and 6 men born 1995 or 1996 It is also permitted to enter up to 2 substitutes in each discipline, in case any of the selected athletes can not start due to illness. Beyond the Nordic countries several European nation are invited. These and additional athletes from the Nordic countries do not participate in the nations competition, only in the races. Technical Delegates and judges TD s of Ski Jumping, Cross Country and Nordic Combined are nominated by the FIS. NOR and FIN will send at least one judge for the Ski Jumping competitions. The cost of this judge is carried by the competing nations. Additionally will NOR appoint the necessary number of judges. Prices There will be prices for the 6 best in each individual and relay prices will be given to the 3 best teams. All additional competitors receive souvenir prices. Prices will be handed out at the skistadium after each competition. On Saturday evening we will have a common dinner with a price ceremony for participants in the Nordic Junior Competition. 4
Competition groups Jumping and Nordic Combined should be seeded in 4 groups. The athletes in Cross Country should be seeded in 3 groups. Two athletes in each group. Other national and/or international participants will be seeded in the C-group. Accommodation Accomodation for all nations will be the Quality Hotel Panorama in Heimdal in 3 km distance to the skistadium. We offer following prices (per room and night, incl. breakfast): Singleroom: 780 NOK Doubleroom: 980 NOK Tripleroom (for three persons): 1180 NOK Dinner will cost about 150 NOK p.p. We will offer lunch at a cafe in the stadium for about 75 NOK.
