Roman Uchyn s goal at 13:54 of overtime sent the Green Knights to their 11th Frozen Four. Luke Karakas, Pijus Rulevicius and Steven Phillips also scored for St. Norbert. For Augsburg, Trevor Stewart had one goal and Corbin Chapman two goals, including a power-play marker at 14:33 of the third period to force overtime. T.J. Black made 31 saves for St. Norbert, while Nick Schmit made 22 stops for the Auggies. About the Green Knights: St. Norbert enters the series at 9-0-1 overall record. Senior forward Tanner Froese leads the Green Knights in scoring with four goals and eight assists for 12 points. Junior forward Riley Christensen has one goal and nine assists for 10 points. Freshman forward Keegan Milligan has three goals and five assists for eight points. Junior forward Roman Uchyn has four goals and three assists for seven points, while freshman forward Peter Bates has two goals and five assists for seven points. Junior forward Brad Pung has four goals and two assists for six points. Junior goaltender T.J. Black is 9-0- 1 with a 1.37 goals against average and.947 save percentage. St. Norbert is 15-for-56 (26.8 percent) on the power play and is 33- for-39 (84.6 percent) on the penalty kill this season. About the Auggies: Augsburg enters the series 8-2 overall. The Auggies, ranked No. 7 in the USCHO.com and No. 8 in the D3hockey.com polls, were swept last weekend by St. Thomas by scores of 2-0 and 5-4 in a home-andhome series. Senior forward Nate Flynn has six goals and seven assists for 13 points, while junior forward Luke Dietsch has four goals and nine assists for 13 points. Junior forward Chandler Madry has three goals and a team-high 10 assists for 13 points. Senior forward Drew Anderson has three goals and eight assists for 11 points, while junior forward Alex Rodriguez has four goals and six assists for 10 points. Junior goaltender Nick Schmit is 8-2 with a 1.89 goals against average and.922 save percentage. Augsburg is 9-for-44 (20.5 percent) on the power play and is 27- for-37 (73.0 percent) on the penalty kill this season. Fast Starts: St. Norbert s 9-0-1 start to the 2017-18 season marks the sixth time the Green Knights have been unbeaten 10 games into a season. The Green Knights opened the 2002-03 season with a 10-0 mark - the most wins to open a season without a blemish. St. Norbert has started 9-0-1 four additional times - in 2003-04, 2006-07, 2009-10 and 2014-15. The Green Knights went on to start 11-0-1 in 2003-04 and

started 10-0-1 in 2006-07 and 2014-15. St. Norbert s best start without a loss was the 11-0-1 mark out of the gate in 2003-04. MIAC Minutiae: St. Norbert has a solid 87-11-7 record against Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference competition since Tim Coghlin took over the Green Knights' helm in 1993. Two of the losses came in a sweep at St. Mary's in Coghlin's first year of 1993-94. Since then, the Green Knights are 87-9-7 against the MIAC. St. Norbert is 11-1-1 in its last 13 games against the MIAC, with the only loss coming in a 2-1 setback at Gustavus Adolphus on Nov. 3, 2012. At home under Coghlin, St. Norbert is a remarkable 50-2-3 against MIAC foes. The losses came in a 3-2 defeat to St. Thomas in the 2005 NCAA Division III Tournament and to Gustavus Adolphus 4-2 on Nov. 3, 2007. Home Sweet Cornerstone: St. Norbert is 234-30-13 all-time at the Cornerstone Community Center, which includes a 9-4-1 mark there its first season in the building in 2000-01. St. Norbert is 214-22-10 in its last 246 games at the Cornerstone Community Center. The Green Knights had a 25-game home winning streak - the secondlongest in NCAA Division III history - snapped with a 2-2 tie to Gustavus Adolphus on Nov. 4, 2011. St. Norbert also owns the NCAA Division III record with a 36-game home winning streak set Oct. 25, 2002 to Oct. 29, 2004. In the last 16-plus seasons, the Green Knights are a sparkling 225-25-12 at the Cornerstone, with three losses and one tie coming to national champion UW-Superior during the 2001-02 season. Under Tim Coghlin, St. Norbert is 313-52-19 at home, which includes games at Brown County Arena, Resch Center and De Pere Ice Arena. Poll Position: St. Norbert has been ranked in the USCHO.com Division III Poll for 291 consecutive polls. The Green Knights have been ranked in 329 of 335 polls conducted since its inception at the start of the 1998-99 season - the most of any school in Division III. During the 291-week stretch of being ranked, St. Norbert has been No. 1 for 92 weeks - ahead of Norwich s 85 for most all-time. St. Norbert was rated No. 1 in the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2014 final polls. The Green Knights are 123-23-9 all-time when ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com Poll. St. Norbert is 133-52-18 against teams ranked in the USCHO.com Poll under Tim Coghlin. The Green Knights are 4-5 all-time against the No. 1-ranked team and are 8-7-1 alltime when playing the No. 2- ranked team. Coghlin Count: St. Norbert head coach Tim Coghlin owns a record of 538-138- 53 in his 25th season. Coghlin in 20th place all-time in wins for NCAA men s ice hockey coaches in all divisions. Coghlin is four wins shy of moving into a tie for 18th place. Retired Army coach Jack Riley and retired Bowdoin coach Terry Meagher are tied for 18th all-time with 542 wins apiece. Coghlin is also only the seventh coach in college hockey history to be at least 400 games over.500. Coghlin joins Jerry York (primarily Boston College), Ron Mason (primarily Michigan State), Jack Parker (Boston Univ.), Red Berenson (Michigan), Bob Peters (Bemidji State) and Bob Emery (Plattsburgh State) as those who reached that plateau. Tough After Two: St. Norbert has a 79-game unbeaten streak when leading after two periods, going 77-0-2 since the Head Coach Tim Coghlin Education: Bachelor s degree in communications at UW-Stevens Point (1989); master s degree in education at UW-Stevens Point (1995).
