It is the only contest between these two teams at Quicken Loans Arena. In their first regular season meeting on Jan. 4 in Charlotte, Kyrie Irving nailed a 12-foot jumper with 1.0 second remaining to seal a 106-104 win. The Cavs had a season-high 10 blocks while swiping nine steals and shooting 39-78 (.500) from the field. Overall, the Cavs have won five straight games over Charlotte and are 13-1 all-time against the Bobcats at The Q. The Cavs enter tonight s contest as winners of four of their last five home games. Cleveland is coming off a 115-110 home victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Feb. 2 and has now won six of the last seven games over the Thunder at The Q. In the win, the Cavs set a season-high for points in a period with 39 in the fourth quarter, while shooting 16-24 (.667) from the field. In their last five games at The Q, the Cavs are averaging 103.4 points, 26.8 assists and just 12.8 turnovers. They had 115 points, 27 assists and 13 turnovers in the victory over the Thunder on Feb. 2 Over their last nine games, the Cavs are averaging 12.4 turnovers. The Cavaliers have also tied or had fewer turnovers than their opponents in 18 of their last 22 contests. Since December 28th (18 games), they are shooting.813 (339-417) from the foul line, which is the 4th best free throw percentage in the league over that time. Cleveland s reserves have outscored their opponents bench 49.0 to 31.0 over the last two games. The last Cavs player to tally at least 20 points and 10 rebounds off the bench was Antawn Jamison on Nov. 19, 2010 (20 points and 11 rebounds). Kyrie Irving scored 13 points in the final 2:52 and notched his 10th 30-point game of the season with 35 points, on 12-23 (.521) shooting from the field, in 35 minutes against the Thunder on Feb. 2. Eight of Irving s 30-point games have come in his last 15 games. Tristan Thompson posted his 18th double-double of the season with 11 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 38 minutes against the Thunder on Feb. 2.
