ERZURUM PALANDOKEN Palandoken is one of the ski centers that has the long and steep ski runs (28 km) in the world. It is 5 km away from the city center and 10 km away from the airport that offers the opportunity of skiing in 15 minutes after landing on. With artificial snowing system it guarantees the opprotunity of skiing for 6 months.

JUMPING TOWERS

The only jumping towers of TURKEY. 2 Towers for Races (K125, K95), 3 Training Towers (K60, K40, K25), 2 Ref Towers, 25 Sporters Maison, 1 Social Facility (Camping Center with 100 Bed Capacity), Fitness Center, Cafeteria, Artifiical Snow Pond (7.500 m3 water capacity), Artificial Snow Systems,, Funicular Systems, Watering Systems for Summer Jumpings, The facility has all kinds of infra-structure for summer and winter jumpings.

ICE HOCKEY VENUE

2 Ice Hockey Venues; one with 3000 Spectator Capacity and the other with 500 Spectator Capacity on an area of 192.000 m2 The field is 30mx60m, in olympic sizes. The venues can be used as sports center. There are dressing and resting rooms for sporters, refrees and trainers, administrative offices, cafeteria, auditorium, meeting room, exercising rooms, sauna, health care and doping control rooms.

ICE SKATING VENUE

Capacity: 2.000 On an area of 7.000 m². The field is 60x30m in sizes and can be used for basketball, voleyball and hentball. There is an ice area of 1.800 m2, and there are sauna, exercising rooms, meeting rooms and VIP rooms.

CURLING VENUE

Built on an area of 39.000 m2 the curling venue is 58m x 31m and has a Spectator Capacity of 1.020. The venue can be used as sports center. There are dressing and resting rooms for sporters, refrees and trainers, administrative offices, cafeteria, auditorium, meeting room, exercising rooms, sauna, health care and doping control rooms. The venue is in olympic sizes and offers the opportunity of competition for 10 teams at the same time.

SPEED SKATE VENUE

The venue is 60m x 30m and has a spectator capacity of 518. There are dressing and resting rooms for sporters, refrees and trainers, administrative offices, cafeteria, auditorium, meeting room, exercising rooms, sauna, health care and doping control rooms.

KANDILLI SKI CENTER CROSS COUNTRY AND BIATHLON VENUES

The Camping Center is 3.303 meters and has a bed capacity of 90. There are cafeteria, exercising room, offices, health care and service units. Shooting Range is 90 meters in length and is composed of 50 shooting ranges. Artificial Pond has 50.000m3 water capacity. The Nordic Discipline and Biathlon Racetrack is snowed by Artificial snowing systems which is 8 km in length.

THERMAL TOURISM Erzurum has a rich potential in terms of geothermal resources and so offer opportunities for thermal tourism and health tourism. There are more than 150 resources that have a temperature of 50-60 C and these resources are superior in terms of flow rate, temperature, physical and chemical features.
