INFLATING TYRES Using the Pressure Guage The pressure gauge has dual readings for reading pressures in PSI or BAR to help match the units of the items required pressure. 1 Unscrew the cap on the tyre air valve. 1 Identify the required pressure for the item to be inflated. 5 R 17-32 PSI Note: The required pressure should be labeled on the surface of the item. 2 Attach the air hose by screwing the end of the hose in a clockwise direction. 2 Once the air hose is connected, the pressure guage will display the current pressure. 25 5 2 75 4 6 1 8 125 3 Press the on/off switch into the on position I. I II 4. INFLATING SPORTING EQUIPMENT 5. REPLACING FUSE IMPORTANT: Before connecting OR DISCONNECTING accessories, always make sure that the compressor is OFF. WARNING: Ensure the tool is switched off and disconnected from the power supply before performing any of the following Steps. 3 valve adaptors are supplied with the automotive mini compressor for inflating sporting equipment. 1 Screw the required adator clockwise into the end of the air hose. The 12V socket is fitted with a 15A fuse to protect the air compressor. If the compressor has stopped working, the fuse may need to be replaced. 1 Unscrew the top of the 12V socket to expose the fuse. 2 Connect the 12V socket to a power supply. 2 Replace the 15A fuse and screw the top back onto the 12V socket. 3 Insert the connected adaptor into the inflatable item. 4 Press the on/off switch into the on position I to inflate the item to the required pressure. 5 Switch the compressor off and remove the adaptor from the inflated item. NOTE: The same proccess can be used to inflate balloons or inflatable toys using the general purpose adaptors instead of the ball adaptor. AMC-3

After each use, blow air through the Compressor housing to ensure it is free from all dust particles which may build up. Build up of dust particles may cause the Compressor to overheat and fail. CARING FOR THE ENVIRONMENT If the enclosure of the Compressor requires cleaning do not use solvents but a moist soft cloth only. Never let any liquid get inside the Compressor; never immerse any part of the Compressor into a liquid. Note: Ozito Industries will not be responsible for any damage or injuries caused by the repair of the Compressor by an unauthorised person or by mishandling of the Compressor. Power tools that are no longer usable should not be disposed of with household waste but in an environmentally friendly way. Please recycle where facilities exist. Power tool use and care a. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed. b. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired. c. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally. d. Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. e. Maintain power tools. Check the tyre pressure before inflating. Never exceed the suggested pressure of the item being inflated. If suggested pressure is exceeded, the item being inflated may burst. Do not bend or pinch the air hose while the Compressor is in use. It is not suggested that the Compressor work continuously for more than 3 minutes. If 3 minutes of use has been reached, turn it off and let it cool for 8 minutes before using again. If the Compressor is making abnormal sounds or its temperature if quite high, turn off the power straight away and let it cool for at least 1 minutes before trying again. Improper use may result in damage of the Compressor. Do not leave unattended and operating. Keep out of reach of children. Put the Compressor in a dry place if it is not in use for an extended period of time. Keep the Compressor away from flammable liquid or gas. Do not allow the Compressor to become wet. Never put the connector and adaptors into your mouth, ear or eye. They are not toys.
