Meet Rules and Information 1. The competition will be held under A.S.A. Laws and A.S.A. Technical Rules. 2. Heats are arranged according to submitted entry times. Swimmers who enter an event without a submitted time will swim in the first heat. Poolside entries are not accepted under any circumstances. Entries will be accepted on a first come/first served basis. The promoter reserves the right to limit the number of entries in any event to comply with license overall session times. 3. Age groups are 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and over. Age is on the day of the competition. Heats will be swum in entry time order with a final for each age group, except for the Individual Medley event which will be heat declared. 4. As this meet is a cardless meet, it is the responsibility of the coaches/swimmers to ensure that swimmers report on time for their event. A list of swimmers and events will be posted on the club website by 19 th September 2016. 5. No outdoor shoes may be worn by the poolside, but footwear must be worn in the spectators gallery and outside the marshalling area. 6. Team managers are responsible for the good behaviour and whereabouts of their swimmers at all times. 7. Date: Sunday 25 th September 2016 8. Venue: Hucknall Leisure Centre, Linby Road, Hucknall, Nottingham, NG15 7TX. Length 25m. Total capacity is 350 throughout the entire centre. Note poolside seating is limited. There is a free car park. Please see additional information below. 9. Session Times (approx): Morning Warm-up 08:30, 09:00, Start 09:30. Afternoon Warm-up 13:30, 14:00 Start 14:30. 10. Entry Fees: 5.00 per individual per event. 11. Coach s Pass: 12.00 each, which includes programmes, start lists and a buffet lunch. Passes are limited to three per club and are not transferable. Passes will be checked regularly throughout the meet. Only coaches with passes will be allowed on poolside and provided with start lists. Team managers will be charged as a spectator unless a coach s pass is purchased in advance and are not allowed on poolside but have access to all spectator areas including the main hall.

Awards: Awards will be presented to all six finalists in each event (unless a swimmer is disqualified in the final, in which case the award will not be presented) plus overall Top Girl, Top Boy & Top Club 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd place. Those not wearing a wristband will be requested to pay again 15. Closing Date for entries: Friday 9 th September 2016 16. Entry Procedure: No entry will be accepted unless the correct fee is enclosed. Entries will not be accepted after the closing date Friday 9 th September 2016 NO REFUNDS will be made for cancellation of entries after the closing date (Friday 9 th September 2016 or when meet full or when accepted entries confirmed, whichever is soonest). Cheques should be made payable to FALCON ASC and should be accompanied by an entry form which can be printed from the Falcon website. Photocopies will be accepted. Payments by bank transfer are accepted for club entries, please email for bank details. Note all entries will only be confirmed as entered once full payment, by whichever method, has been received. 17. Withdrawals: It is important that you inform us if you have to withdraw from an event by 7pm on Saturday 24 th September at the very latest using one of the following methods: Email webber3@ntlworld.com Phone/text 0777 344 2314 We will need your name, club and the event that you want to withdraw from. In the unlikely event you are unable to swim one of your events on the day; you must inform us AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE before the start of the warm up session, at the entrance desk near the main hall at Hucknall Leisure Centre.

After this time it will be assumed that you are swimming the event and a lane will be allocated to you. 18. Any changes to the above or anything not covered will be at the discretion of the Promoters, Falcon Amateur Swimming Club. Additional Information: Due to the limited spectator seating on poolside we would ask that no lunch bags or kit bags are left on the spectator seating. Spectators will be able to join swimmers in the Main Hall throughout the day and to view/purchase from the refreshment and other stalls. Swimmers will not remain on poolside when they are not competing. Swimmers will be stationed in the Main Hall and will be accompanied to and from poolside by Open Meet marshals for all events. ALL swimmers will leave poolside through the changing rooms. They will need to have pool shoes or spare clean trainers, a spare towel and t-shirt & shorts or tracksuit so they can dry and dress before being allowed to return to the Main Hall. Lockers are available at 1 each and the money is returnable. ALL parents must be aware that for Child Protection purposes there will be a strict no photography/video policy throughout the Leisure Centre. Failure to comply will result in further action. Car parking is limited on site. There is a large car park at the Tram Station located opposite Tesco supermarket which is a 5-10 minute walk to the Leisure Centre. Please note the smaller car park off Station Road is now closed. If you do use the centre car park then please be aware that you must park inside the white lines, must not park on double yellow lines, must not park on the grass and may only park in disable parking spaces if displaying a valid disabled badge. The car park is Council controlled and is regularly checked by Parking Attendants, especially on event days. Coaches who wish to be Poolside must have a valid Coaches pass and will not be permitted onto the Poolside without one. Only those with a Coaches pass will be provided with start lists and passes must be shown. Refreshments, including tea & coffee etc will be available to purchase in the main hall on the day. Please note there will not be a catering van. Further details will be on our website in the very near future. Please keep looking as we may add more information up to the day of the event.

At the end of their heat, swimmers will be asked to remain in the pool until the next heat has commenced. Swimmers can then leave the pool by the side. Swimmers MUST NOT climb over the timing pads.
