Emperor HG Mounting Kits Emperor Racing has a good range of premium quality handguard Mounting Kits. The Mounting Kits are CNC machined from a billet of aviation grade aluminum. The range is designed to fit most handlebars on the market today. Each handguard mounting kit has a comprehensive guide on the reverse side of the packaging to indicate which handguard mounting kit will fit which handlebar. If you purchase a mounting kit for a KTM, an angled swivel is also needed to get around obstacles like the Brembo Clutch and other cables. Ref. The drop down style gives a better feel when cornering and rolling on the throttle. HG-6 Replacement Aluminum Bars A pair of highly polished silver, anodized, aviation grade aluminum 6061 T6 replacement bars which have been heat treated. The bar has been specially designed and machined to allow for adjustment when fitting the mounting kits. The shape of the aluminum handguards is designed to give the rider the ultimate protection but at the same time giving a compact fit. This allows the rider to ride in tight single track trails. IK Insert Kit The replacement insert kit comes with both size inserts. The 14 mm insert will fit most popular handlebars on the market. The 18 mm sleeves are there for the steel bars as they have an 18 mm inside diameter hole in the handlebar. AS Angled Swivel The angled swivel is used when one needs to increase the clearance around the clutch or brake hose area. It replaces the straight 45 mm swivel that comes standard with the mounting kit. The angled swivel can also be purchased with a kit (MK-01 AS or MK-03 AS).
