Crown wheel and pinnion 3.5:1 & 4:3.1 The 3.5:1 ratio is a very popular modification to Healeys nowadays. As the roads are smoother and traffic is faster this modification will greatly improve touring comfort by lowering the revs by approx. 11%. 4:3 is the version to use if you are racing. Our prototypes were tested on two cars for two seasons without any noticeable change in rate or ride height.
