Canyoneering The sport of Canyoneering stretches back more than 12,000 years in the plains of Southern Utah. The ancient tribes who inhabited this landscape would navigate the slot canyons of Zion to gather plants and berries while hunting Wooly Mammoths, Giant Sloths, and Camels. Southern Utah is internationally recognized for its green, lush canyons tightly enclosed by towering, red sandstone walls. Zion Ponderosa offers our adventurers the unique opportunity to explore these canyons by climbing, bouldering, rappelling, and swimming. But don t let this description scare you! On-Property Activities Continued Bungee Trampoline Let your child feel weightless as he/she soars to new heights. Children love to shrug off gravity as they try flips, twists and turns. Mini Golf Perfect your golf swing on our mini golf course. Whether it is a friendly game or a fierce competition, this is a great activity for all ages. Just watch out for the boulders and waterfalls! Rappelling Lessons Do you dream of canyoneering but don t know where to start? This is the activity for you! (This lesson is included for all canyoneering tours) Mini ATVs Give your children the chance to have their own adventure with our mini ATVs. They will feel grown up, all the while staying on a safe track. Climbing Wall Climb up a 50-foot wall, rock by rock. This is a great way to build strength and endurance. Compete against others or yourself. Mountain Bike Rentals If you like exploring and want a good cardio exercise, rent one of our fat tire mountain bikes. You will get a map with some suggested trails and you will be on your way! $12 (1Voucher) Day: $60 Hour: $15 Pony Rides If your child loves the idea of riding a horse but doesn t meet the height requirements for one of our trail rides, they will love a 10 minute pony ride on one of our old, friendly horses. Zip line Spread your wings and jump. For 28 seconds, you will feel on top of the world. This is both an adrenaline rush and a chance to see Zion from the top. 5 Ranger Jeep Tour One of our knowledgeable guides will take you around our 4,000 acres, teaching you about the origins, customs and culture.
