A great course that will open your eyes to a new world of outdoor climbing. No previous outdoor experience necessary, only perquisite is you must know how to belay. We will start in Squamish and will review climbing fundamentals such as Top Rope Safety Systems, Belaying, Rappelling and of course, a lot of climbing. We will be camping in the Squamish area. Day one and two will be spent in the Smoke Bluffs, a local cliff based right in Squamish. Here the kids will get to try slab and crack climbing, two forms that can be very different from indoor climbing. The 3 rd day will be spent at Plan B, a small crag located just north of Squamish. This area provides more face climbing, more similar to the style of indoor climbing. DURATION: 4 DAYS (3DAYS/SQUAMISH) This course will include a Pre-Trip Session a week prior where the guide will discuss Trip Planning: Clothing, Food and Equipment requirements
