General Regulation The 22nd Eiscup Innsbruck will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2016, the Special Regulations and Technical Rules Single Skating 2016 as well as all pertinent ISU Communications for the categories Seniors, Juniors, Advanced Novice, and Basic Novice A and in accordance with ÖWO 2016 (Österreichische Wettlaufordnung). Place and date The Eiscup will be held in Innsbruck at Tiroler Wasserkraft Arena (Olympiaworld Innsbruck), Olympiastraße 10, 6020 Innsbruck, from January 26 to 28, 2018. Technical Data All competition events will be held in Innsbruck at Tiroler Wasserkraft Arena. The Ice Rink (30mx60m) is indoor and heated. CATEGORIES SENIOR Men and Ladies Free Skating: In accordance with the ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating. 2016, Rule 611, paragraph 1 and 2, and all pertinent ISU Communication. 2 min. 40 sec. +/- 10sec. In accordance with the ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2016, Rule 612 and the respective ISU Communication. Men: 4 min. 30 sec., +/-10 seconds Ladies: 4 min., +/- 10 seconds JUNIOR Men and Ladies The required elements to be skated are those listed in ISU Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating and the respective ISU Communications. 2 min., 40 sec. +/- 10 sec Free Skating: In accordance with ISU Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating 2016, Rule 612 and the respective ISU Communication. Men: 4 min, +/- 10 sec. Ladies: 3 min, 30 sec, +/- 10 sec. ADVANCED NOVICE Girls and Boys Free Skating: In accordance with ISU Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating and ISU Communication 2024 and all respective ISU Communications 2 min 20 sec +/- 10 sec. BASIC NOVICE and YOUNG Categories BASIC NOVICES A Girls and Boys Basic Novice Categories will be held in accordance with ISU Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating 2016 and ISU Communication 2024 and subsequent updates. BASIC NOVICE A: a) has reached at least the age of ten (10) b) has not reached the age of thirteen (13) for Girls and Boys in singles competitions Well balanced Free Skating according ISU Comm. 2024 2:30 min, +/- 10 sec. CUBS Girls and Boys CUBS: a) has reached at least the age of eight (8) b) has not reached the age of ten (10) for Girls and Boys in singles competitions by 1st July 2:00 min +/- 10 sec CHICKS Girls and Boys CHICKS: has not reached the age of eight (8) for Girls and Boys in singles competitions by 1st July 2:00 min +/- 10 sec A well balanced Free Skating program for Chicks & Cubs Singles Boys + Girls must contain: a) Maximum of 4 jump elements for Girls and Boys. There may be up to two (2) jump combinations or sequences. Jump combinations can contain only two (2) jumps. A jump sequence can contain any number of jumps, but only two most difficult jumps will be counted. Triple jumps are not permitted. b) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature (abbreviation). Flying Entry is allowed. c) There must be a maximum: (i) for Girls and for Boys maximum of one (1) step sequence with a fixed Base value and evaluated in GOE only. The step sequence must cover at least half of the ice surface to be counted. The Program Components are only judged in Skating Skills Performance/Execution The Factor of the Program Components is 2.5. Levels explanations: For Cubs Singles, in all elements which, are subject to Levels, only features up to Level 2 will be counted. Any additional features will not count for Level requirements and will be ignored by the Technical Panel. Reimbursement of entry fees can only be offered for cancellations done latest by January 1, 2018. In special cases we will offer reimbursement also later (medical attests have to be sent minimum three days before competition). Music All Competitors shall furnish competition music of excellent quality on Audio CD format and all discs must show competitor s name, club and category. Each program (short program, free skating) must be recorded on one track and on a separate disc. In addition, we highly recommend that competitors provide a back-up disc for each program. Planned Program Content Sheet The Program Content Sheet must be sent along with the Entry Forms to the Organizing Committee till December 15, 2017, by email to: eiscup2016@eislaufen-innsbruck.at Draws Draws for the starting order of Seniors, Juniors and Advanced Novice Short Program as well as for Basic Novice A, Cubs, and Chicks Free Program will be done electronically. The organizing committee will send the starting orders to all participating clubs as well as will publish them online Starting orders for Seniors, Juniors and Advanced Novice Free Program will be in reverse order to the final result of the short programs. Prizes The trophy Internationaler Pokal der Stadt Innsbruck ( International Cup of Innsbruck ) will be awarded to the skaters with the highest total score (Ladies and Men). Liability In accordance with the ISU Rule 119, the Organizer accept no liability for bodily or personal injury, or for property loss or damage incurred by any Competitors or any kind of Officials.
