All Safety Areas are clearly marked. Your car IS NOT a Safety Area. Gun handling at your car is prohibited and will result in a 10.5.1 Match DQ. Do not climb on the berms or cross any safety line. Children and pets should be controlled at all times for their personal safety. All competitors must wear eye and hearing protection while on the line. Eye protection is required to be worn by everyone while on the range. Spectators are strongly encouraged to wear hearing protection while observing the shooting. Club Facilities Restrooms: Portable toilets are located in various places on the range property. The Club s permanent restroom facilities are closed for the duration of the match. Parking: Parking for competitors is allowed on top of hill only. Only designated Match Officials vehicles are allowed on the ranges and staff parking is next to conex s.

Procedures and Protocol Sanctioning: The match has been approved by USPSA as a Sanctioned Level III Match. The match will be scored with all six Divisions separated. Scores will be posted on the USPSA web site at the conclusion of the match. Rules: The 2011 EGW USPSA Area 8 Championship match will be administered under the USPSA Handgun Competition Rules, USPSA Edition, January 2008. Popper Calibration: If you feel a popper is off calibration, challenge it DURING SCORING. It will be checked per Rule 9.6.4 and appendix C1. If the challenged popper fails the calibration test you will be granted a re-shoot. Match Scoring: If you have a question regarding your posted score, recheck your score sheet. If you still think there is a problem, contact the Chief Stats Officer. We will do everything humanly possible to avoid errors, but YOU are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of your score. Please check posted scores before departing the range. Arbitration Requests: The arbitration fee is $100. Ask the CRO for an Arbitration Request Form and ask for assistance in retaining evidence. Complete and return the form within one hour of the time noted on the score sheet, together with the arbitration fee, to the Match Director. Preparation: Shooters are expected to come to the line with their gun holstered and ammunition in place when it is your time to shoot. Rain Covers: IPSC targets will be covered with transparent plastic if there is rain only by order of the Range Master. The plastic covers will be removed when the rain stops only by order of the Range Master. Lost Brass: As a matter of efficiency, all brass collected from the range is deposited in the designated range pail. Brass is distributed to the range officers at the conclusion of the match in consideration for their hard work. Scheduling: Competitors must compete for score according to the published match and squadding schedule. A competitor who is not present at the scheduled time and date for any stage may not attempt that stage without the prior approval of the Match Director, failing which the competitor s score for that stage will be zero. (6.5.1). On occasion, stages will clear squads early. If your entire squad is available and the CRO approves, the squad will be allowed to shoot ahead of schedule only on the scheduled date. Inspection: When the entire squad is assembled at the scheduled time, a brief stage walk through will be given, followed by a five minute inspection and question period. Shooters at their scheduled stage may negotiate obstacles only during the five minute inspection period. The on deck competitor only may additionally negotiate obstacles while the previous competitor s targets are being scored. Early inspection of a stage is permitted by competitors only if a squad is not currently on the course of fire or getting ready to begin it. Do not operate any of the moving targets or props that activate such

movers. If the RO staff is present on a stage, please extend to them the professional courtesy of asking before inspecting the course of fire. Eye and Ear Protection: All competitors must wear eye and ear protection while on the line. Eye protection is required to be worn by everyone while on the range.

Match Awards and Prize Policy The 2011 EGW Area 8 Championship will have a money payout and or plaque awards for Division, Class and Category winners. Merchandise and discount offers, which were donated by our generous sponsors, will be distributed by random drawings and handed out at registration. The amount of each money award and the number of money awards per division/class/category will solely be contingent on the overall number of paying competitors and the number of paying competitors per division, class and or category. A competitor may receive all trophies which she or he merits: however, a competitor is entitled to only one (1) money award. For instance, if a competitor places first A class Limited-10 and HOA Limited-10 champion, she or he would receive the higher of the two money awards, but not both! The money not awarded in the aforementioned case will then be returned to the money pool for redistribution to other winners in that division. The total amount of money awards for any division will be based upon the number of competitors in that division. It is likely that a division/class/category winner in one division may receive more than the same division/class/category winner in another division. For example, if the match has 30% Limited competitors, the amount awarded would be split 30% among Limited Division, and the remaining 70% will be split accordingly (based on # of competitors) among the rest of the Divisions. All awards of money/plaques will be made in the 6 Divisions (Limited, L10, Open, Production, Revolver & Single Stack) as listed below with the following set forth criteria: By Division: *HOA- 5 to 24 competitors in the division 2 nd OA- 25 to 49 competitors in the division 3 rd OA- 50 to 74 competitors in the division 4 th OA- more than 75 competitors in the division First in Class: M through D (Each class with a minimum of 5 shooters) Second in Class: M through D (Each class with a minimum of 10 competitors) Third in Class: M through D (Each class with a minimum of 15 competitors) High Lady * High Super Senior * High Senior * High Junior * High Military * High Law Enforcement *

* A minimum of 5 eligible competitors per division/class /category must register in order to receive a plaque and or money award for that division/ class/ category. *Grand Masters are only eligible for Match HOA/ Division OA/ Category placement. *Division HOA winners may receive a firearm in lieu of a monetary award. Match HOA: Area 8 Champion * Area 8 Ladies Champion * *Match HOA (A8 Lady & A8 Champions) must be a legal resident of Area 8 (Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Virginia) to be eligible. Proof of residency may be required as necessary. *Match HOA (A8 Lady & A8 Champions) are only entitled to a plaque award for such recognition, although they will be eligible for Division OA/ Category placement plaque/monetary award as outlined above.
