Solutions to Meet Your Needs Over 30 years experience operating across a wide range of market segments means that we have a breadth of solutions that can be tailored to meet your needs.
For laboratory environments, gas generators provide a hassle free, cost effective and safe solution versus traditional cylinder supply. What s more, our range has been designed specifically to reduce product lifetime costs and improve your efficiency, making us the number one choice for your gas generator requirements. NO MORE CYLINDERS Why pay for the ongoing costs of cylinders when you can have your own hassle free, cost effective and safe gas supply solution? With gas generators, the installation cost involved is significantly less than that of gas cylinders as no piped distribution system is required. Ongoing costs are also drastically reduced as there is no need for replacement gas cylinders or associated rental costs and delivery charges. Gas generators deliver many health and safety benefits versus gas cylinders. Firstly, gas generators remove the potential risk of personal injury as there is no need for manual handling of cylinders. Also, due to their high pressure characteristics, gas cylinders can be potentially dangerous, especially in a fire situation. However, this risk is minimised with gas generators, as they operate at a much lower pressure. In actual recorded fire events, the fire brigade have been unable to enter areas where gas cylinders have been located due to their potential explosive properties, consequently resulting in significantly higher losses due to fire damage. This increased awareness of the potential hazardous properties of gas cylinders has begun to result in revised risk assessments, which can subsequently escalate insurance premiums. You no longer have to worry about running out of gas during an analysis cycle. With gas generators you have an uninterrupted and constant supply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Gas is simply at your fingertips; all you need to do is flick a switch! There are also no problems if your lab layout changes or you move from the ground to second floor, as our gas generators are totally portable. Not only that, but the storage space required for generators is significantly less than gas cylinders. THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY THE GREATEST BENEFITS At the heart of our generators is technology that will deliver significant benefits for the user. All hydrogen generators are equipped with a patented copper-nickel (Ni-Cu) electrolytic cell, which offers benefits over the more conventional ion exchange membrane commonly used in other generators, as it is tolerant of water impurities and does not require continuous top ups of solution or the associated costs of replacing deionising bags. All of our nitrogen generators use PSA (pressure swing absorption) technology that requires no maintenance and unlike other membrane technology does not degrade over time. The range of nitrogen generators also utilises Fastart TM technology that provides high purity gas within 30 minutes of switching the generator on. This is unmatched by any other generator, which takes approximately 3-4 hours to reach high purity. The result is less downtime and improved efficiency for your lab.
REDUCING LIFETIME COSTS REMOVING THE PURCHASE BARRIERS One important but often missed consideration when choosing your gas generator is the lifetime cost of the product. Therefore, an intrinsic component of our gas generator designs has been to minimise these ongoing costs. This design means that preventative maintenance can be carried out in approximately 30-60 minutes, reducing associated labour costs to a minimum level. The amount of maintenance parts required has also been minimised to reduce costs. In the unlikely event of a fault, repairs can be carried out on all aspects of our generators. Even our hydrogen generator s copper nickel (Ni-Cu) electrolytic cell can be repaired, which is not possible on other conventional ion exchange membrane based generators. For membrane generators, a complete replacement may be required and at a cost that can be almost 90% of the original equipment cost. Even if our copper nickel (Ni-Cu) electrolytic cell needs to be replaced the cost is significantly less at approximately 30% of the original equipment cost. This philosophy is carried through to our nitrogen and air generators, where the PSA (pressure swing absorption) technology has a minimum life expectancy of 10 years as opposed to other membrane technology that only has a guaranteed life of 1 year and degrades over time. TWO OR THREE FOR THE PRICE OF ONE Our combined generators provide you with the ultimate and truly unique single source supply where pure air, nitrogen and hydrogen are needed. Two generator models are available, one supplying pure air and nitrogen and one supplying pure air, nitrogen and hydrogen. There are obvious financial benefits as our combined gas generators are far more cost effective than 2 or 3 separate generators. In addition, only one installation is required. In areas where space is also paramount our combined gas generators provide a compact and effective solution. Not only this, but our combined generators deliver all the great benefits provided by our individual gas generators. Sometimes even with all these benefits, it is still difficult to gain approval for the investment in new capital equipment. For this reason we offer a unique approach to the supply of laboratory gas generators. For instance, you can choose one of our monthly facility charge packages rather than having to worry about heavy capital investment costs. These options provide 3, 4 & 5 year contract terms to specifically meet your needs which may range from warranty and preventative maintenance visits to a fully inclusive option that covers all repairs over the lifetime of our supply. What s more, this option is flexible. For example, if your requirements change and you decide that a generator with a larger flow capacity would be more appropriate, then we would simply exchange your existing generator and replace it with one that meets your new requirements. There would only be a change to your facility charge, with no need for further capital expense or investment.
