Cattle that do not have a NLIS device will be sent home. It will be necessary to bring your Waybill Book on Show Day. NLIS scanning will be done at the Showgrounds. All cattle must be tick free. Age of cattle to be taken from the day of the Show. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Chief Steward and Committee shall be final. All cattle must be secured by lead ropes whilst in the stalls. Proston Show Grounds is ticky. Cattle will be sprayed to go back to clean country. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY ARRIVAL TIME: All cattle must arrive at Proston Showgrounds prior to 3.00pm on Friday, 9 March, to enable drafting by the Stewards. PRE-SHOW WEIGHING: Weighing, mouthing and ear tagging of cattle will be done when cattle arrive at showgrounds. Animals will then be placed in their allocated class pens. Weights as outlined in class schedule will be strictly adhered to. JUDGING: Judging will commence at 9.00am, Saturday morning. Show Regulations on pages 10 to 11 apply to this section. Stud Cattle exhibitors are required, under the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS), to make sure ALL cattle coming onto the Showgrounds carry an approved NLIS device (ear tag or bolus).
