. Group name: 2018 Ladies Golf & Shop Tour Destination: O ahu (Hawaii) Dates: 6 th May 12 th May 2018 ALOHA!! WELCOME TO O AHU THE HEART OF HAWAI I The Koolau Mountains tower in your sightline. Palm trees line the green. The white of your golf ball pops against the deep blue sky. Even a bad game of golf on Oahu is still pretty darn good. With more golf courses than any other island, golfers of every skill level from around the world head to Oahu. Spectacular scenery awaits you at every course. You may also want to make a few adjustments to your game in the islands. Most notably, Hawaii s trade winds can exaggerate mistakes in your swing on a windy day. Luckily, most Oahu courses have wide, forgiving fairways. Bermuda greens can also be harder to read than traditional bentgrass greens. All these factors help make for some fun and challenging rounds on the golfer s heaven of Oahu. Join Chrissy, Karen and Tamara for the Ladies Trip of a Life time!

Mon 7 th May GOLF: Hawaii Prince Golf Club When designers Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay attended the Hawaii Prince Golf Club's opening in 1992, Seay said, 'This course will get better with every year that passes. Carved out of coral rock, the Hawaii Prince's fairways have established their own distinctive definitions with the maturation of the surrounding landscape. With 10 ponds, water comes into play on more than half of this Oahu golf course's 27 holes. Like the other Ewa Plain tracks, wind is the major factor, making it not uncommon for three-club winds to be in play. Tue 8 th May GOLF: Royal Hawaiian Golf Club Set between looming mountain cliffs and the peak of Mt. Olomana, Royal Hawaiian Country Club (formerly Luana Hills CC) offers two distinctive nines in Windward Oahu's beautiful Maunawili Valley. Designed by Perry Dye, the front nine plays along the more open lower slopes of Mt. Olomana, while the back nine meanders through a dense rain forest at the very foot of the Koolau range. Like all Dye courses, one side of every hole is fraught with risk, while the other is more forgiving. The second hole is a creative, short par-5, playing at just over 460 yards even from the tips. The slightly diabolical 3-par No. 3 offers a hit-or-miss challenge off the tee. After the turn, golfers literally head into the jungle. The short par-4 10th requires an exacting tee shot, then a blind approach. One of your next challenges is the 'The Pond Hole' where water is to the front, right, and left of the green from an elongated and elevated tee. Outstanding holes abound on the back nine, especially the par-5,-4,-3 trio from 14 through 16. You won't find three holes any better or more exciting at any Oahu golf course.

Thu 10 th May GOLF: Turtle Bay Golf Course Palmer Course Home to both Champions and LPGA Tour events, the Arnold Palmer Course at Turtle Bay offers a superb layout that winds around a 40-hectare wildlife preserve in the serene Punahoolapa Marsh. Winds bring numerous sand bunkers and water hazards into play on the front nine. Included are subtle, but prevalent hole-defining waste bunkers that present a natural grace with a linksland feel. After playing across and into the prevailing wind for the first five holes, the front nine turns downwind at the enticingly short par-4 dogleg right sixth. Getting close to the green is critical to landing a soft approach to hold the illusionary green, which falls off to the rear. After an imposing par-5, with water along the right closing out the side, the back nine ducks into a wind-blocking forest of ironwood. The par-4 No. 11 is a dogleg right with water right, all the way in to a green requiring a mid-to-long iron over an inlet with a typical left-to-right crosswind. In fact, the only hole where water does not come into play on the back nine at the Palmer Course is the heavily bunkered signature par-4 17. The exquisite par-4 at No. 16 is one of Hawaii's best and the exceptionally creative 18 completes a string of marvelous finishing holes. Fri 11 th May GOLF: Ko Olina Golf Club
When the Ko Olina Golf Club opened in 1990 it marked the first of several new courses in Leeward Oahu that decade and is currently one of only four resort courses on Oahu. This western Oahu golf course has hosted both Senior PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events. This mounded layout's prevailing trade winds are its strongest characteristic and biggest challenge. After playing into a quartering wind from the left at the par-5 No. 1, golfers are met with a short par-4 at the second hole that plays into the trade wind with water on the right, the first of six holes where designer Ted Robinson's trademark water features come into play. A real stunner appears at No 8, a par-3 with cascading rock garden waterfall left of a multi-tiered green. Ko Olina's finishing hole is an engaging par-4. The tee shot is critical to determine the length and position in which to approach the slightly elevated green protected at front and left by a large pond and waterfall. Hidden at the dogleg is still another water feature that comes in from the right. Getting on the green is only half the battle on this tiered putting surface.
