The following packet will help you organize for the next few days and will assist you during your stay in Cranberry. The first step you should take after reading this packet is to contact Cranberry Area Little League Tournament Director Warren Albert at 814-671-3064 to inform him that you have won your Sectional Championship. The following pages in this packet will need to be completed-rosters, dinner reservation numbers, and walk-up music- and emailed to flytyer1@gmail.com (please submit in PDF format). Please also email a picture of your team identifying your players and coaches. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Teams Arrival Tuesday, July 25, 2017 Manager and Coaches should arrive at the Cranberry Area Little League Complex at 4 PM. There will be a mandatory Manager/Coach meeting at 5:00 PM. ALL managers and coaches must attend this meeting, no exceptions. The purpose of this meeting is to go over ground rules, tournament rules, and review player credentials and to answer any questions before the start of the tournament. The tournament will be conducted under the Little League Double Elimination format. In case of inclement weather, the schedule will be revised. Batting cages will be available. Food will be provided to all players, managers, and coaches after each game. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Tournament rules and Regulations as published by Little League Baseball shall be binding and strictly enforced. The team manager is responsible for uniforms and equipment. The equipment will be checked by the Umpire-in-Chief prior to each game. Players must be in uniform with the Little League approved patch. Managers and coaches must wear pants or slacks, no shorts are allowed during the games. Pre-game practices will be assigned on the practice fields by the host league. Approximately 15 minutes prior to the game start, managers and the game director will meet at home plate to conduct the coin-flip to determine home team, review the ground rules, and answer any pre-game questions. Umpires will be available at this time to review any rules in question. Both teams will line up as directed by the tournament director when introduced and remain there for the Little League Pledge and the National Anthem.
Housing Housing will not be provided for teams. We will make every attempt to reserve blocks of rooms for guest teams to purchase. RADIO BROADCASTS: Anyone who wishes to broadcast games over the radio must contact Tricia Albert @ 814-673-2506. Each station will be responsible for bringing own equipment and hookups. Space is limited in the press box, and will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. The fee for broadcasting will be $75 per game or $200 per tournament, payable prior to the first game of broadcasting.

Again, this meeting is mandatory for all managers and coaches. Absolutely NO PLAYERS are permitted at this briefing. Players may, however, check out Cranberry Area Little League complex at this time.
