Condition The clean silica sand must be free of rocks, shells, and/or other debris. Infiltration, inches/hour Must drain adequately for site e.g., 15-20 inches/hour. Sand Depth Minimum sand depth: 18" in center, 15" at side/end lines, 12" at perimeter of sand surface.
