EXECUTIVE GOLF ACADEMY @ THE EMPIRE At the Executive Golf Academy, we offer Group Golf Instruction (from 3 to 6 students) as well as Individual Private Instruction for those students who wish to have a more personalised learning experience from their instructor with a one-to-one or two-to-one student-teacher ratio. The typical school day runs from 10am to 4pm and will usually be broken down into three hours of instruction in the morning, followed by lunch and then an optional two-hour playing lesson on the golf course. Because each program is personalised for each student we can not give you a specific itinerary for each day. Before you arrive at the school we ask that you fill out a player profile which has specific questions about your game and reasons for attending the school. Your instructor will review this before you arrive so that he can be better prepared to provide you with the program best tailored to fit your needs. The first day of your school you will have an evaluation and consultation with your instructor so that, with your input, he can prepare a customised lesson plan. 2

JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY @ THE EMPIRE Open to all junior golfers under 18 and of all skill levels, our Junior Academy features lessons in both group and individual settings. Whether your son or daughter has been playing golf for many years or is just starting out, we have the focused attention and fun learning environment that will help your child progress rapidly in this wonderful game. Our Junior Academy group lessons are available either once a week for one hour per day or 3 times a week for 90 minutes per day. Group sizes are always from 6 to 10 students. We have new groups starting up frequently. If you are interested in a fun, group setting for your child to improve his or her golf game, please contact Ahmad at +673-893-0870 for available days and times. Individual group lessons are available for those parents who wish to have their child improve their golf game in a one-on-one learning experience. 10

Resident PGA Golf Professional, Ahmad Bateman, is a Canadian national who has won on the U.S. PGA Nationwide Tour and featured prominently for many years on the Asian PGA Tour. He also is a 20-year Member of the PGA of America and has been teaching golfers of all capabilities, from beginners to Tour Professionals for 17 years. Ahmad holds the all-time record for longest birdie-eagle streak in professional golf history! He is sought out by and coaches a number of the top Tour Players in Asia and is well-known for his teaching expertise in the short-game, sport psychology and course management. He has been the Head Golf Professional and Lead Golf Instructor at The Empire Hotel and Country Club for the past four years.
