Boat Hire It s so easy to hire a boat with Latchi Watersports - foreign tourists only need a valid car driving licence! We have the widest range of boats available of any rental facility in Cyprus. You can book by phone, email or in person, in advance or on the day, depending on availability. When you arrive for your boat trip, you will be given a full briefing of the area with a map showing where you can take your boat within the Akamas Coastline, plus tips on good snorkelling spots. You will also receive a full and very comprehensive briefing on how to operate the boat, as well as safety tips and advice. Once you ve been given your life jackets and snorkelling equipment, one of our RYA trained staff will drive you out of the harbour. Once you are out in the open water, you will be free to enjoy the calm and crystal clear waters, that are ideal conditions for first timers. You can hire your boat for 1 hour, 2 hours, half a day or for the full day. All of our boats have a canopy and come equipped with a cool box and snorkelling gear as well as all necessary safety equipment. You can also hire an underwater camera for some amazing azing and unusual holiday snaps! So what you waiting for? Let s get on the water! 3

Luxury Boats The 250hp Marinello Cabin This boat comes with a shower, toilet and MP3 player. The entire front half of the boat is suitable for relaxing and sunbathing, with the cabin providing a welcome escape from the mid-day sun. The largest and newest fleet of rental boats in Latchi marina! The 225hp Marinello Eden 26 At 8m, this boat is the largest in our self-drive rental fleet. It comfortably accommodates 8 people and also has a toilet, fresh water sink, on board shower, MP3 player and easyboarding ard ladder. It has plenty of storage space and ample room for sunbathing or lounging. The 150hp Marinello Eden 22 A new addition to our fleet. This boat comes equipped with MP3 player, shower and sunbathing area. Although smaller than the Eden 26, there is no compromise on seating space and you will have plenty of room for sunbathing. The 90hp Soverato The 115hp Voyager This boat is spacious and one of the fastest in our fleet. It comes with all the features of the other luxury boats and is perfect for guests who have a need for speed. The smallest and most economical of our luxury boats. You can still enjoy a smooth and fast ride with the luxury of comfortable seats and an MP3 player. All our luxury rental boats are equipped with MP3 players! 4

The Shark 70hp A comfortable and economical boat, with enough power to tow an inflatable tube. It comes with sunshade, small sunbathing area and an MP3 player to enjoy your music whilst cruising! The Marinello 115hp The newest of our luxury boats, the Marinello 115hp has a deep V hull, which makes it very stable on the water. It is both spacious and comfortable and comes with an MP3 player and a freshwater shower to take the salt off after snorkelling. The Marinello 70hp A fantastic comfortable boat for 6 persons with MP3 player on board. This boat also has full canopy and an easy swim ladder at the rear. The Bavaria 41 Above deck there is a roomy cockpit area with plenty of seating space. The twin helm design means better all-round visibility and easy and safe access to the stern of the boat. One of the most stunning features of this new generation boat is that the stern can be lowered to reveal a huge swim platform, complete with ladder. Perfect for diving, snorkelling or simply to sit and watch the world go by. 7

The Bavaria 41 The interior of the boat is light and spacious. It is designed with extra headroom and multiple windows and hatches keep it bright and well ventilated. Designed with comfort in mind, the boat is beautifully furnished. It has a spacious dining area, a kitchen area, a roomy bathroom, and three cosy and comfortable cabins. 8

The Bavaria 41 When you charter The Bavaria 41, the services of a professional captain are included, leaving you with nothing to do but relax and enjoy everything that the beautiful Akamas coastline has to offer. The Coastline DO THE COASTLINE The Akamas Peninsula has a stunning array of coves, bays and diving spots to visit on your trip. Enjoy the best of the Latchi coastline both above and below the water. Literally fountain of love, but for the Romans it was the fountain of life. Four cutouts in the rocks can still be seen where they docked their boats, and underwater many pieces of amphora can still be found, which make it a good spot for snorkelling. NA FONTA A OS AMOR S RGE O E ST G AND ISL BEACH On the surface the barren volcanic outcrop is home to multiple species of seabirds, while below the surface the island is home to a vast array of marine life including tuna, grouper, trumpet fish and octopus. A great place for snorkelling or diving. Situated at the tip of the peninsula, this golden sandy beach is an ideal spot for a picnic and its seclusion makes it a perfect place to get away from it all. Reef Aphrodite s rock is situated below the fabled baths of Aphrodite, with a prominent cross mounted on the highest point. Many local legends exist as to why the cross is there, from the absurd to the tragic, so drop anchor here and see if you can find the answers! Beach Manolis Bay The Blue Lagoon LIS MANO BAY The most popular bay in the whole of Cyprus. As soon as you arrive, you will be dazzled by the beautiful clear turquoise water and white sandy bottom. The beautiful island in the middle of the bay provides an impressive habitat for many types of marine life with excellent snorkelling visibility. This bay is a definite must see..! St George s Island St George s Reef Amphitheatre Bay Aphrodite Rocks The Latchi Watersports Beach side operation at the 5 Star Anassa Hotel Latchi Harbour Latchi Watersports Centre Takas Bay This bay is famous for its caves and jumbled rocks that make it so interesting. When snorkelling, look out for the large family of trumpet fish that have made this bay their home and observe the way they change colour relative to their environment. Anassa Hotel & Latchi Watersports on the beach This site gets its name because it has been mined for its stone for around 2000 years and resembles a Roman amphitheatre. With a small beach at the Eastern end of this bay you can drop anchor and explore more on foot. DIVE CENTRE Our Dive Courses EXPERIENCE/ COURSE BUBBLEMAKER SEAL TEAM DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING INFORMATION This experience will be completed at sea in pool-like conditions, since we are fortunate enough to have crystal clear, calm waters. Generally this program is done at the famous Blue Lagoon where there is a chance to see an array of different types of fish, crabs, octopus and even turtles! Seal Team is comprised of 10 different aqua missions in which your child will learn important confined water skills and also participate in underwater games which balance learning and fun. The child will receive their very own Seal Team log book in which they can log each aqua mission as they complete it. The Discover Scuba Diving program is designed to give an introduction to scuba while developing a few of the necessary skills. Participants will start out in water shallow enough to stand up in and get comfortable before continuing to a maximum depth of 6 metres. AGE RANGE 8+ 8+ 10+ SCUBA DIVER OPEN WATER DIVER ADVENTURE DIVES ADVANCED OPEN WATER RESCUE DIVER Don t have that much time on your holiday? No problem, you can complete the Scuba Diver Course in just a day and a half! This is half of the Open Water Course and consists of a small amount of classroom time, 3 confined dives and 2 open water dives. You can upgrade to the Open Water certification at any time as this certification is good for life. This is the first full qualification for diving. Everyone has a different learning style and therefore everything you learn in this course you will first read (manual), then watch (videos) and finally do (confined/open water dives). There will be 5 modules of theory, videos and confined (shallow) water dives. This repetition will give you the practice and confidence you need to become a diver. After successful completion of basic skills in confined (shallow) water, you will progress to deeper water in 4 open water dives, giving you time to improve on the skills you ve been learning. Choose from a huge selection of special dives such as digital photography, underwater scooter (james bond style!), wreck, deep, nitrox and fish I.D. Each dive can count towards Advanced Open Water certification. This course consists of 5 dives and is designed for anyone who has already completed the Open Water course and wants to learn about different aspects of diving and improve their skills. The required dives are deep (to 30m, 15yrs+ or 21m 12-15) and navigation (underwater compass use) with the remaining 3 dives of your choice, including wreck diving, dpv (scooters), photography, peak performance buoyancy and many more! Serious fun! This course will make you a more aware and confident diver. You are taught how to handle various types of diver emergencies. Practicing rescue scenarios both above and below the water. A prerequisite for the course is a current (within 12 months) First Aid/CPR certification. The Emergency First Response course can accompany the rescue course if no first aid certification is currently held. 10+ 10+ 10+ 12+ 12+ SPECIALITY COURSES We offer 14 different specialty courses which will enhance your diving knowledge and skill in a particular area. Courses include underwater photography, wreck diving, underwater navigation, deep diving (to 40m), enriched air, oxygen provider training and many more. 18+ Internship programs We offer a wide range of summer internship programs. These are ideal for students on summer holiday or as part of a gap year and also people wanting to make a career change. All diver training can be provided up to Master Scuba Diver (the highest level of PADI non-professional rating), Dive Master and Assistant Instructor. We are the only dive centre in Cyprus able to offer the prestigious RYA Powerboat Licence and also offer watersports experience in addition to diver training. Each candidate has different needs and internship packages are therefore tailor made. 13

Boat Trips Pomos Cruise the entire length of the Chrysochous Bay! See the Akamas National Park, swim in the Blue Lagoon, and snorkel in the picturesque Pomos Bay. Then relax with traditional Cypriot food & wine in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the quaint fishing harbour of Pomos. RYA Training Courses Latchi Watersports has four fully trained RYA powerboat instructors to guide you through the different levels of RYA Powerboat Licences. We have three commercial training boats fully equipped with everything you need to breeze through your course, ranging from 150HP to 200HP. 14

Sunset Watching the sunset over the magnificent mountainous outline of Cape Arnaoutis is a breathtaking way to spend an evening. Trips include a guided tour of the Akamas National Park, a leisurely dip in the amazing Blue Lagoon, then off to the Cape to enjoy a glass of fine Cypriot wine whilst watching the stunning sunset over the horizon. Fishing We offer guided fishing trips for both novices and the more experienced fisherman. Our highly knowledgeable guide will take you to the best spots and help you set up, using our top quality equipment and bait. You are sure to have a truly memorable experience. RYA Dinghy and Multihull Training Centre Latchi Watersports Centre are proud to announce that we are now the first and only RYA Dinghy And Multihull Training Centre in the Eastern Mediterranean. Here in Latchi we are very lucky as the predominantly westerly winds provide us with the perfect conditions to learn how to sail. We run a vast array of courses: from beginner all the way up to advanced modules and racing training. 15

Qualification: Scuba Diver Shallow swim throughs and a vast array of marine life on the islan land s East side with a wall dive to 32m and beyond on the island s West side for the more advanced divers. Amphitheatre Bay Depth: 12-20m Min. Qualification: Scuba Diver Many rocky outcrops that provide shelter for octopus, crabs, lobster, squirrel fish and many others. Continue deeper and look for moray eels hiding in the walls of the bay. The Blue Lagoon Depth: Max 7m Min. Qualification: None This beautiful lagoon is perfect for training dives and new divers. The island in the middle of the lagoon makes a perfect habitat for marine life and a voluminous cave starting at 5m and continuing to the surface is an added bonus. 16 DID YOU KNOW? DID YOU KNOW? The waters around the Akamas National Park are the most pristine in Cyprus and are also a protected habitat for turtles. Fontana Amorosa Depth: Max 12m Min. Qualification: Scuba Diver The highlight to this site is the vast amount of ancient Roman amphora remnants that can be found in or around the reef here. It is also a popular hangout for stingrays! St George s Reef Depth: Max 11m 1m Min. Qualification: Scuba Diver Begin the dive with a maze of swim throughs, hs tunnels and canyons and end it exploring the wreckage of a sunken yacht. Pikey Bay Depth: Max 12m Min. Qualification: Scuba Diver Fulll of ancient treasures, this site has enough to intrigue any diver as to the mysteries of how they got there. Zenobia Wreck Depth: 18-42m Min. Qualification: Advanced Open Water or equivalent. Among the top 5 wreck dives in the world, this is a 172m Swedish ro-ro ferry that sunk in June 1980 with all its cargo, including 135 articulated lorries. 17

Watersports Banana boat & tube rides A giant inflatable banana that can seat up to 8 people and is guaranteed to have everyone giggling by the end of the ride! There are also other types of inflatables that can seat up to four people, some for the not-so-brave and small children, and others for crazy teenagers that will keep them entertained every afternoon of your holiday! Jet e ski k hire h e Whether you have a need for speed or simply want to explore the coastline in a different way, you can hire a jetski from Latchi Watersports. We have five 130hp Seadoo jet skis that can be rented from 20 minutes to 2 hours. Parasailing Imagine complete peace and tranquility, floating over calm waters and beautiful landscapes. Sounds like a dream but we can make it a reality! We offer parasailing for all ages, with a double harness also available for two-person rides. 18 Waterskiing Our high quality ski school has equipment for waterskiing, wakeboarding, monoskiing, kneeboarding and wakeskating. Even children as young as 3 years old can learn to ski with our fully qualified instructors.

Windsurfing W We have a wide range of windsurfing equipment with sail sizes from 3m for youngsters and training, all the way up to 6m for more advanced surfers.
