RULES & REGULATIONS 2018 MB ENDURO Registration in the MB Enduro 2018 implies acceptance of the rules and regulations. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations may lead to disqualification. This document is based on texts from the FFC regulations currently in force concerning the sport of mountain biking. Any matter not covered in this document automatically adopts the implementing measures laid down in these reference texts. 1. DEFINITION The MB Enduro takes place on a course made up of timed special stages on predominantly downhill trails, with up-hill pedalling sections totalling up to 20% of the overall elevation gain, and a trail that puts the rider's technical prowess and versatility to the test. The liaison stages linking the special stages are not timed but each rider must pass through them within set time limits. A rider who reaches the start of one of the special stages after the cut-off time incurs a time penalty proportional to lateness of arrival. The race committee reserves the right to modify these Rules and Regulations at any time, in order to comply with the regulations in force and to ensure the safety and best interests of participants. The course shall be marked out using barrier tape, signs, and gates or corridors marked by barrier tape. Riders who go off-course, whether by accident or on purpose, must start off again from the exact spot at which they left the course, or else incur a penalty. The winner of the race is the rider who completes the whole course, passing through the special stages in the shortest time (the specials times are added up). In the event of a draw, the rider who finishes the last special stage in the shortest time will be declared the winner. 2. ORGANIZATION MB RACE is organized by the MB RACE association.
