Preamble: The French is the official language for the event. 1. RULES The regatta will be governed by: 1.1. The rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (2013/2016) 1.2. F.F.VOILE regulations 1.3. In case of translation of this Notice of Race, the French text shall prevail 1.4. Police Regulations of the Lake 1.5. Class rules, unless any of them is changed by the sailing instructions 1.6. This Notice of Race. 2. ADVERTISING Competitors wearing on their sailboat an advertisement other than that chosen and supplied by the organizing authority, must present the card or ad hoc authorization. The organizing authority shall submit to the race committee before the start of the first race of the event, the list of competitors who presented their card or ad hoc authorization. 3. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION The regatta is open to : 3.1. National Snipe : The regatta is open to crews updated their contributions to the Snipe Class Association 3.2. Yole OK : The regatta is open to crews updated their contributions to the Yole OK Class Association 3.1.1. Eligible boats may register by completing the attached form and sending it, together with the required registration fees, to: Ligue de L Enseignement Meuse 51290 GIFFAUMONT Deadline for accommodation registration: Wednesday, May 13 th, 2015. 3.1.2. Competitors (each crew member) living in France must be presented at time of registration: - with their valid FFVoile license and medical stamp or medical certificate and a parental consent for minors - If necessary the upgrade sheet duly completed - If necessary, authorization to carry advertising - The measurement certificate or conformity The foreign competitors unlicensed in France will have to prove their belonging to a member of the National ISAF Authority. 4. SCHEDULE - Competitors welcome at the nautical center: Friday, May 22 nd - Confirmation of registration: at the accommodation center Saturday, May 23 rd from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm - Welcome drink on Saturday 6:45 pm in the sailing school - Crew dinner on Saturday 8:00 pm at the accomodation center - General meeting class Snipe : Sunday, May 24 th at 5:30 pm - Results and prize : Monday, May 25 th at 2:45 pm 2

MEASUREMENT No systematic control. 7. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS The sailing instructions will be posted on the notice board and given to crews when they register. 8. COURSES The course to be sailed will be of type: triangle or banana The start of each series is independent : a starting for the Snipe then for the Yole OK The series will evolve over the same course. 9. PENALTY SYSTEM The rule ISAF 44.1 is applied. 10. SCORING 10.1. A minimum of 2 races is necessary to validate the competition. 10.2. The maximum number of races to run is 14 10.3. The Low Point System of Appendix A will apply. 10.4. The ranking will be done in real time for each series. 11. PARKING PLACE The vehicles must be parked at locations reserved for this purpose. The parking of sailing school will be governed of exclusivity for the users of the sailing school by municipal stop. The parking of vehicles on the boat park is allowed only for the filing and removal of the trailers. 12. RADIO COMMUNICATION Except in case of emergency, a boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications not admissible to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile phones. 13. PRIZE The prizes will be awarded as follows : cup and trophy awarded to: first 3 of crews Snipe cup and trophy awarded to: first 3 of crews Yole OK 14. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. The decision to participate to a race or to continue racing is their own responsibility. The organizing authority will not accept any responsibility for material damage or personal injury or death, as part of the race, both before, during or after the regatta. 15. INSURANCE Foreign competitors must bring a valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum amount of 1.5 million Euros coverage. 3
16. FURTHER INFORMATION: A self-service with hot meal, will be located at the hosting center, located 100m from the Sailing School, the "Crews Dinner" will be served at the table. Lunch box, with a hot drink, will be distributed when back to the ground by the organization team. The rooms of the hosting Center have 3 or 5 beds as appropriated. No sheets please provide.
