The Course 3.1 SWIMRUN POLAND ULTRA https://www.traseo.pl/trasa/swimrun-poland-solina-2018-ultra 3.2 SWIMRUN POLAND MARATHON https://www.traseo.pl/trasa/swimrun-poland-solina-2018-marathon 3.3 SWIMRUN POLAND SPRINT https://www.traseo.pl/trasa/swimrun-poland-solina-2018-sprint 3.4 The participants must follow the marked course. 3.5 There will be several energy stations with water and food throughout the course. 3.6 There will be medical staff and equipment on boats and on land. Please report them all problems.
4. Main swimrun rules 4.1 You have to race in a team consisting of two persons that are at least 18 years old and able to swim. It is possible to create MEN, WOMEN and MIX TEAM 4.2 All teams need to bring all their equipment from start to finish 5. Equipment 5.1 Mandatory Equipment 5.1.1 Swimsuit designed for the conditions of the competition 5.1.2 Whistles, 1 per person 5.1.3 Race bibs must be worn visible all the time during the race (from the organizer) 5.1.4 Timing chip (lost or not returned will be charged 100 złotych gived by the organizer) 5.1.5 Swimcaps, must be worn visible during all the swims (from the organizer)
5.2 Recomended Equipment 5.2.1 Tether 5.2.2 Water bladder 5.3 Equipment that is not allowed 5.3.1 Floatation help that is bigger than 100 cm x 60 cm. 5.3.2 No wetsuits can be modified with paint or color that washes off in the water. 5.3.3 Swim fins are not allowed if the fin is longer than 15 cm. Measurment is from the toe to the end of the fin. 5.4 Equipment check before the race 5.4.1 Before the race there will be a mandatory gear check.
6. Safety 6.1 Participants start in the race at their own risk and cannot hold the organization responsible for any accident during the race. 6.2 Each swim section is secured by water ambulance. 6.3 Each team member needs to have a valid insurance for competing in swimrun. It can be insurance for OTILLO events. 6.4 The teams are obliged at their best ability to help another team that have been injured or being sick. 6.5 The two members of each team has to stay together at all time and cannot be more than 10 meters apart. 6.6 Rate well your well-being and if there is something wrong make a responsible decision and abandoned the race. In that case report it as soon as possible to the organization. 6.7 The race organization can refuse a team to continue if they judge not capable due to fatigue or being in such physical condition that continued racing would be to take unnecessary risk.
7. Disqualifications 7.1 The participants that do not follow the marked course will be disqualified. 7.2 If a team fail to bring all their equipment to the finish line will be disqualified. 7.3 The participant are not allowed to throw trash in the nature. If a team is doing so they will get disqualified. 7.4 Supporting from other people beyond the service is not allowed. 8. Timing and cut offs 8.1 Time measurement will be based on the reading of neoprene chips attached around the ankle. Failure to return the chip may result in a fine of 100 zlotys. 8.2 Time measurement will be run at start, finish and several intermediate points. 8.3 Each TEAM is obliged to cross each time point together. 8.4 Time limits for individual points will be given at check-in.
9. Rules of entry 9.1 The SWIMRUN POLAND SOLINA is open to people who are 18 years of age and have the ability to swim in open water. 9.2 In case of ULTRA start - completion of any swimming or triathlon event with minimum swimming distance of 1 km. If a swimmer can swim but does not participate in the competitions at the required distance, he or she can prove the ability to swim, for example, a video recorded at the pool where he or she meets the required distance. Organizers will randomly verify the players. MARATHON participants must have the same ability to swim at a distance of 700 meters in the form of results from the competition or film. SPRINT riders must be able to swim at 400 m in the form of race or film scores. 9.3 Entry and payment of the buy-in is final there is no possibility to return the buy-in.
9.4 There is a possibility until 27.08.2018 to exchange one TEAM member free of charge. After that time the replacement of the player is paid 50 PLN due to the advanced stage of the organization of the competition. The new participant must meet all the requirements set out in the rules. WARNING! After 20.08.2017 it is possible to exchange only same-sex players! 9.5 Both Team members fill in the enrollment form individually and the system joins the team in pairs following the unnamed Team name. 13. General rules 14.1 It is possible to change the course even in the race day.
