Since then, we ve piloted a programme in which players achieved an average score reduction of 14.5 shots in the space of just four weeks. In conjunction with Education NZ this programme brought a cohort of young students to train with the Institute of Golf and as a result the group s score fell from 85 to 70.5 on average. Programmes are incredibly flexible, so you can build your own custom package according to your needs and goals. We offer an array of add-ons to complement the base programme, enabling you to reach your maximum potential fast. JUNIOR GOLF HOLIDAY PROGRAMME An ideal choice for junior players and a very popular experience for families during the holiday periods. The break between school terms offers a unique chance for young golfers to improve their technique and create opportunities for their future. The game of golf often leads to bigger things, whether in the business world or elsewhere. Our track record with young players speaks for itself train where Lydia Ko learned the game! The Institute of Golf sets players up to excel at the game, attain college scholarships or turn professional many of our players have been awarded scholarships to some of the most prestigious universities in the US. Our programmes have a strong on-course focus and run for 4 hours a day over 6 days, in either group or individual settings. PROGRAMME DETAIL We know every player is different, so we ve designed these with optimal flexibility for you or your family while ensuring you reach your golfing targets. The main programme is a baseline improvement experience covering the fundamentals of high performance. There is plenty of opportunity to improve your technical prowess, and then test those new skills on the course with your coach. We measure improvement continually throughout your programme and track your progress. Include as many coaching add-ons as you wish based on how high you want to advance in your game. ADD ON AND BUILD YOUR OWN Our consultation team will work with you to add on extra coaching components that will enhance your experience and performance. Add-ons can range from a simple 60-minute private lesson to an intensive 18-hole on-course experience with your own coach. This allows us to focus exclusively on you, personalising your training to your needs and goals. The more time spent oneon-one, the better the results you can expect. Institute of Golf Add-On s 60-minute lesson A coach will work with you to identify errors and implement improvements. A great way to pack in extra learning and development. 9-hole playing lesson A coach accompanies you on the course for 9 holes to assist with on-course strategy and ensure you re executing technical improvements correctly during the course of play. Includes a warm-up session and a post-round debrief. Half-day programme (4 hours) An opportunity to spend half a day dedicated to improving key aspects of your game. Working with a coach, this session is completely tailored to your needs, from on-course play to short game, long game, or any combination of the above. 18 hole playing lesson (8 hours) A full day of play, complete with a coach to help with tactical awareness for the duration of the round. The key lies in statistical data collection we monitor your performance and provide you with an online assessment of key areas for practice in order to lower your score to the desired level. Includes a lunch or dinner package and post-round debrief. This is recommended for medium to advanced players. Performance full day (8 hours) Our most popular programme with more advanced players. Extend your programme with a full day of performance coaching to see tangible results. This 8-hour programme offers an opportunity to learn new skills and put them into practice under the watchful eye of an expert coach. Programme content is adapted to whichever aspects of the game you wish to focus on. This can range from oncourse play to short game, long game or a mixture of all of the above. Includes lunch and dinner. This is recommended for medium to advanced players.
