Tampa Gym & Dance Holiday Show Saturday, December 19, 2015 Hillsborough High School 5000 North Central Ave Tampa, FL 33603 This is a historical building so please be very respectful as we are visitors. Tickets Tickets will be on sale Sunday, November 1st thru Thursday, Dec 10th on-line only at www.candosports.org. On-line orders may pick up their tickets at Wayne Papy, New Tampa & Loretta Ingraham during dress rehearsal the week of Dec 12-18. Pre-sale tickets are $5.00 per seat and $10.00 at the door. Cash only will be accepted the day of the performances at $10.00 per ticket. Tickets are non-refundable. All persons, regardless of age, must have a ticket. For the comfort of all in attendance, we strongly suggest discretion in bringing young children to the performances. Strollers and carriers are not permitted inside the building due to fire codes. Performers or backstage moms for that particular show will not need a ticket as they will be seated in the balcony during the show. Seating is limited to 600 per show. You will need a ticket for each show you are attending. Purchasing Tickets 1. Go to www.candosports.org 8. Update the quantity of the product you chose 2. DO NOT LOG IN 9. Click "Update Cart" 3. Click on "Store" on the top right of the page 10. Click "Checkout" 4. Click on "Dance" on the left hand side of the page 11. Click "Checkout Without An Account" 5. Click "Add to Cart" for the product you would like (Double check the show time before purchasing) 12. Fill in the required information 6. Repeat above step if you would like to purchase another product 13. Click "Purchase" 7. Click on "Shopping Cart" in the upper right hand corner Parking You will be parking off of Central Ave, on the home side of the football stadium, and then following the sidewalk and the signs to the auditorium. Keep in mind that it is a long walk from the parking lot to the auditorium so if it is inclement weather make sure to bring an umbrella. Once you park there will be signs showing you the quickest way to the auditorium but if you take the sidewalk that is closest to Central Ave it is the fastest to the auditorium. Drop off Please arrive dressed to perform 30 minutes prior to your child s performance. It is extremely important that each student has the correct dance shoes, costume and hair accessories on before they arrive. All children should have been fed before their performance (No food or drink allowed in auditorium). ONE parent should accompany each performer to left side of the lobby for check in. Please do not leave dance bag with performers, take all extra clothing and shoes with you. Only the backstage moms and the performers will be allowed in the balcony during the show. Our backstage moms supervise the children backstage, both before and during the show. They are responsible for making sure that each child under their care is both safe and prepared for their routine. When it is time for them to perform the Backstage Mom will take their class backstage before their number. While the class is performing the backstage mom will be able to watch the number from stage left. When the number is complete the backstage mom will take the students back to the balcony, where they will stay until the end of the show. Why do we have to stay for the whole show? As a Courtesy to all performers it is our policy that all students must remain for the whole show. Security will not allow you to take your child out of the auditorium. Each show will last approximately one hour. Pick Up All students will be dismissed at the end of the show from the stage, as it is our holiday show tradition for every student to come out at the end for a final bow. All performers will be called to the front of the stage by class, at that time, the ONE parent that signed the performer in is to come up to pick up their child from the stage. Dress Rehearsal Dress rehearsal will be during class time during the last week of classes Saturday, December 12- Friday 18, 2015. * For performance updates please see the Cando website at candosports.org under Dance-Events.
