CONTEST INFORMATION 1. N.B.T.A. RULES: All N.B.T.A. age divisions, time limits and rules will be observed. To obtain of copy of the rules please visit www.batontwirling.com. Reminder: No gymnastics allowed, including but not limited to: body aerials, walkovers, cartwheels, butterflies, somersaults. Performance of these movements will result in disqualification. No mace twirling. 2. ORDER OF PERFORMANCE: The order of performance will be in REVERSE order of the entries received for pageant solo. 3. GYM FEE: To eliminate the door fee, a $20.00 gym fee (per family) will be charged and must be included with each entry. NO COOLERS OR OUTSIDE FOOD: A concessions stand will be available throughout the day. 4. VIDEO TAPING: You may video tape your own child or student from the designated area only. 5. CLERKS NEEDED: To add your name to the list, please call (614) 436-8083 or e-mail twirlingbuckeyes@yahoo.com. 6. OFFICIAL RESULTS: The results will become official 15 minutes after the conclusion of the Awards Ceremony. Please check all results immediately. Pageant awards will be trophies for 1 st through 3rd place with the exception of Novice Pageant which will have medallions. Pageant winner will also receive a beautiful sash and crown. 7. AWARDS CEREMONY: Awards for all Pageant events will be presented at the Awards Ceremony. Wear a costume for pictures. A photographer will be present to take official photographs. ALL score sheets will be passed out at the completion of the contest for all announced results. Please have someone pick up your sheets and awards for you if you cannot stay. NO awards will be mailed. 8. THIS IS NOT A SCHOOL EVENT. DO NOT CONTACT THE SCHOOL REGARDING THIS EVENT. 9. MR. MAJOR: NON SANCTIONED Boys title event 50% solo, 50% Military Strut: 0-6 7-9 10-12 13-15 16+. 10. Sorry, NO refunds. OPEN EVENTS (only): You may enter an open event by phone by calling (614) 436-8083 before 10:00 p.m. There is a $5.00 flat-fee phone entry charge. Open event entries will be accepted after the March 20, 2017 deadline; however, there will be a $10.00 per event late fee charge. You may enter an open event on the day of the contest but only cash will be accepted. Entry changes after the entry deadline will be charged a $5.00 fee UNLESS a 1st place win forces you to advance to a higher division. Call immediately to change entry. Entries that are incomplete, not signed, or that do not include payment, including the gym fee, will NOT be processed until the problem is corrected.
