BA EVOLUTION - RIFLE BUILD The Evolution Rifle program from MPA provides an opportunity for consumers with existing Remington 700 (Short or Long Actions) or Savage (Short or Long) rifles or barreled actions the ability to send these in to MPA for a complete rifle Evolution. BA LITE PCR COMPETITION RIFLE The MPA BA Lite PCR Competition Rifle is designed specifically for the Production Class requirements of the PRS series. It includes many competition related features while staying under the $2000 price limit for this class. Here is the process: 1. Send in your existing barreled action. MPA will remove the barrel (and return to the customer) from the action. 2. We will blueprint the action including truing the face of the receiver and the lugs plus re-cuting the threads. We will also square up the receiver lugs. The bolt face will be squared and the bolt lugs will be lapped. 3. Install a Spencer/MPA barrel. The barrel contour will be to the customers specifications along with barrel length (up to 27 ). The caliber and chamber will also be to customer specs. The barrel itself will be one of our 416R stainless, button rifled, stress relieved and hand lapped match grade barrels. When the chamber and muzzle are cut, both will be indicated into less than.0001 of runout from the chamber to the bore. 4. Install in either our BA Chassis, BA Competition Chassis or BA Lite Chassis. 5. Customer picks the cerakote color. 6. Install a 20MOA Scope Base 7. Options include trigger designation, cerakoting the action, addition of muzzle brake and bedding the action. BA BARRELS In June of 2013, MPA purchased Spencer Rifle Barrels. In addition to the equipment needed to produce world class barrels, Clay s methods and practices are followed to a T. As those who are familiar with Clay Spencer and his world class barrels and bolt action rifles, the methods used by Clay were developed over 30+ years of painstaking effort with the goal of producing the BEST barrels possible, delivering long life and extreme accuracy. No shortcuts are ever taken. The process is slow, exacting and very specific. The results are impressive. His products are legendary in the Benchrest community, particularly in the 1000 yard IBS competitions. Clay s barrels have set over 43 world records and won 75+ major matches and National Championships.
