JV & Varsity Defeat Sanborn Varsity Gets First Win! By Chasen Sanborn EndZone Special Guest Writer The WildCat Varsity won their game against Sanborn. After a non-scoring first half, the 3rd quarter was dominated by the Varsity Wildcats offense. QB #11 Ben Johnson completed three great passes for first downs two received by #80 Jack Connors and one by #46 Jacob Dionne. Continuing to dominate into the 4th quarter, #24 Kevin Lyskawa broke through Sanborns' defense (pictured right) and ran it in for the winning touchdown! #46 Jacob Dionne secured a fumble recovery with 1:30 left in the game. Then as Sanborn pushed for a touchdown with only seconds left in the game, #77 Jake Mullin secured the win by making the final tackle in the back field! Volume 36 Issue 54 Junior Varsity Remains Perfect!! JV also took a win over Sanborn. A very busy offense secured three touchdowns in the first half. #15 Evan Cormier, #8 Jake Holland and #33 Jeffery Wiedenfield all ran the ball into the end zone. The defensive line was strong preventing any Sanborn touchdowns until far into the 4th quarter. After a 22-8 win, they now have a 4-0 record. Right the Varsity celebrate the hardfought win. # 53 Adam Wilkinson, #51 Trevor McInnis, #60 Mason Marquis, #54 Timmy O Neil, and #86 Joshua Yancey

U4 Victorious over Vikings in NorRock By Tobias Manzano EndZone Special Guest Writer Wildcats 4th Grade team along with Division 8 Red Cheer visited NorRock this past week. On the second play of the game #72 Mark Schofield caused a NorRock fumble that was recovered by #60 Tyler Moore. On the first Wildcats offensive series #83 Mathew Perron scored a 35 yard touchdown. #45 Ryan Keenan ran it in for the extra point making it 7-0. On the pursuing kickoff #60 Tyler Moore got Londonderry the ball right back diving on a loose ball mishandled by NorRock. Then on the next drive #24 Michael Williams ran the ball 15 yards to the end zone for a touchdown making the score 13-0 Wildcats early in the second quarter. The offensive show of force would continue #41 Devin Ortiz ran for a 60 yard touchdown. #64 Jackson Romanek ran it in for the extra point making the score 20-0.. the extra point making the score 27-0 Wildcats at the end of the first half. With just 4 minutes to go in the first half NorRock had an impressive 6 play drive that ended with an interception by # 12 Grady Daron. Then #44 Luke Longua had a 50 yard run that had the Wildcats in great field position to score just before the first half ended. #41 Devin Ortiz ran it in for his second touchdown of the game. #42 Evan Iannazzo ran it in for During the half time break the Division 8 red cheerleaders performed the half time show and brought that Wildcat spirit right into the stands. The Wildcats got the ball first in the second half and wasted no time in pouring it on NorRock. #83 Mathew Perron broke 3 tackles and ran it in for a 20 yard touchdown, his second of the game. Devin Ortiz ran it in for the extra point making the score 34-0 Wildcats. With the Wildcats now in the mercy rule the final score was 34-0 Wildcats securing their first victory of the season. Div. 8 happily wrapped up the day by performing a cheer to celebrate the boy s first win! Making this a feel good day for the entire Wildcat crew that was present!

By Glen Murray EndZone Chief Hockey Writer Our last "fundraiser" of the season will be at a Monarch's game. The Monarch's have dedicated Friday October 25th @ 7:00pm as LYFS Wildcats Day. We will submit pictures of the kids during the season that the Monarch's will be showing on the jumbo TV's in center ice and they will focus camera's on the kids during "time outs" and throughout the game. This is a great opportunity for exposure for the Wildcats and a great way to raise lots of money for the program. GOOD SEATS $21 for lower bowl tickets, YES, that's right a group game that is NOT in the nose bleed section. Here's the best part, ALL football AND Cheerleaders with the WILDCATS organization get in for FREE (my favorite word) and a big portion of the tickets sales go right back to the Wildcats organization. We are hoping many of you are able to come out and support the Wildcats and Monarch's and remember to have your kids wear their Wildcat uniform for the camera's and to get in FREE.

AYF Standings as of September 29 th, 2013 - NOTE Grade 3 is instructional and no official standings are kept.we will have NEJHFL standings next week. The entire EndZone staff was unavailable last weekend to cover games. Special thanks for those parents who stepped forward when asked to volunteer to write brief articles for the JV-Varsity and Grade 4 teams. WAY TO GO!
